I chose Chandigarh University because I love their Infrastructure, facilities like a hostel and what I like the most was their anti-ragging environment. It comes in the list of top universities in north India and it's the youngest fast-growing university in the world. That's why I chose Chandigarh University. I preferred this university to everyone because of their infrastructure, Faculty members, environment and one most important thing that is exposure which you get from this university and their placement drives are so good. I choose this course because I want to become a hotelier and I love cooking, and there are so many opportunities in this field in India and as well as Abroad. There is 1 faculty member for 50 students in lectures in practical there is 1 faculty member for 20 students. That is a very good ratio. All their faculty members are highly qualified some are PHDs. Almost every faculty member are having industry experience of more than 7-10 years. Their teaching methods are quite good and interacting. University conducts term exams 2 times a semester. If you study properly you will definitely pass and if you did not study obviously you will going to fail in exams.

Every company offer internship, like in hotel industry every hotel offer internships and they also give a stipend to interns which is usually between 1200 to 2000 rupees. The stipend is dependent upon company to company. Some also provide accommodations as well. When you start working as an intern in any company automatically slowly you will learn everything and clarify your tasks.

After the 4th or 5th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 100+ companies visited every year for campus placements like Walt Disney, Indigo, Taj Hotels, Marriott's, Amazon, Google Oberoi's, and many more. The highest package in the hotel industry is offered by Walt Disney which is 18 lakhs per annum in the USA. Amazon offered a package of 31 lakhs per annum to a computer science student. According to my, 70% of students are getting placed every year which is a very decent percentage. After my degree, I'm going abroad for PG or MBA.

If I talk about their fee structure, I think it is reasonable. Chandigarh University provides the best education with the best career opportunities at very reasonable fees. There is no fees hike policy in this university. If you take admission and your fees are 40000 per semester, then you only have to pay 40000 for every semester. No fees hike policy in Chandigarh University. Chandigarh university gives scholarship to students who pass Chandigarh university common Entrance test. It also gives scholarships on merit basis, sports basis or gives scholarship to wards of defence personnel's. You can also apply for an Education Loan for your course. I want to work in the hotel industry that is why I never applied for campus jobs.

Chandigarh University conducts Cu fest in the month of December or January every year which is India's largest fest. It also organises a tech-fest which mostly organised in the month of September every year. Every department in this university has its own library and there is one central library in which you can find any book you want. Only nice benches with projector screen are available in classes.
