Overall review of Jagannath Barooah College.

I have chosen this college because in jorhat jagannath Barooah University is the best and one of the most recognizable and honorable institution from Assam and many great personalities had been passed out from this institution. Though this university doesn't have traits like others but it is unique in its own way. Also the fee structure is affordable and not high like others and comes with good teachers The admission process is so easy You need minimum 60-65% aggregate marks in the hs or 12th exam ( this is only for the english course) And 10% relaxation for the scheduled castes and tribes (~50%) You just need to visit the institution with your hsslc pass certificate and marksheet to apply for the course with the aforementioned fees in the prospectus. This college is one of ancient college of Assam. Which was open during British era almost. Apart from this college I had applied in one more college but in that college my name in merit list was in so low so I didn't went for that college for admission. Yes, I actually applied in Tezpur university in Bachelor's in English as it's one of my biggest dream to study in it. But my application got rejected , actually not rejected, when we had completed our 12th , there are as lot's of competition among students and the Mark's they obtain was much. So in Tezpur university the cutoff mark was approximately 93. As a result of which I've unable to get the admission. In our university, the admission process is simple. Firstly the student who wish to apply, must have to visit Samarth education portal, there they have to given the required details with their documents. After they've selected, our respected team will call them regarding admission.
