The counseling was done in a good manner. I got to know about the college from one of my friends. I went through many colleges and at last, I decided to go for it. I haven't availed of any quota for admission. It was a sort of walk-in admission. You just have to get to the admission office with your documents and have your registration. Then the college provides a counseling program date where we had to go to Rourkela for counseling. The guide was also there with us and we were asked to have our documents for verification. It was a quite lengthy process but now they have changed the process. The minimum requirement of marks is 50% in 12th.

I'm fond of machines and so I went for the mechanical branch. From my point of view, our faculties were the best ones in the whole college ever they were too friendly and too helpful. The way of their teachings was good. All the faculties were having a Master's degree and our HOD was having a Ph.D. qualification. The internal exams were quite easy as the questions were from the syllabus and notes. And the external examinations were modereate neither too easy nor too hard. It's all about preparations and mostly repeated questions used to come

The college helps to get companies for internships through their sources. The most frequent opportunity is for CTTC where students can avail themselves of paid internships for min one month. The faculties of each department eagerly help the students get them done with their internships and help them avail themselves of good companies for internships. The college also has major and minor projects in the 7th and 8th sem respectively. The students are grouped under each group and are made to do projects according to their topics with a guiding faculty. The guides monitor the whole project and get a weekly report. The minor project is done with PPT seminars where the students are made to face the audience so that they can have better communication skills. Then in the 8th sem, the students are made to do major projects where they work on their minor projects in detail and give them a practical look.

The campus selection of students is also good. Our college stands in the fifth position in giving campus jobs. The students of the 7th sem are eligible for campus placements. There's a pre-placement class is also held for the students so that they get prepared for the placements and interviews. The placement departments see that the students are punctual in their classes. Many companies are coming for IT and CSE departments recruitment along for EEE and EE, ETC. The Mechanical and Civil branches had to suffer as for campus this year. Companies like CSM, BYJUS, VEDANTU, JINDAL, ADVANCE INFRASTRUCTURE, CARIGAR TOOLS, and many more Marketing companies come and offer at least 5 10 seats. The highest package is 4 to 5 lakhs for freshers. The percentage of students getting placed is 70%, of which 50% are of CSE and IT departments and 20% are of core branches. I've got placed in advance infrastructure and hoping to get the job letter asap and work for my career buildup.

The annual fee of the college is nearly 90k to 95k. There is a hostel facility inside the campus only where it costs nearly 70k annually. There are many opportunities for scholarships for the domiciles and minorities and there a particular section in college that sees the scholarship opportunities for the students.

The campus is not too big but it's sufficient for one to have a walk there are annual fests, games, tech fest, and Star night where some celebrities come for the performances. It's an energetic environment all-around canteens and shops are available inside the campus. Libraries are available. The classes are adequate in size. It's a bit hot during summer. Sports like basketball, football, cricket are also available. There are Discipline Members group and Dance groups also. The main plus point is that our college stands with a thinkQubator room where students with innovative ideas can work. Hackathons and all are also held in our college.

The hostel's annual fees are about 70,000 INR where students get a room where 4 students are made to stay and there's no attached bathroom. There are two different common bathrooms on each floor. There are 5 floors in each building and there are two boys hostel and one big girl's hostel inside the campus only. There is a mess on the ground floor where tables are provided. The students get 3 meal in a day and the meal quality and quantity is good. One of our faculty is the in-charge of the hostel and he sees whether the students are having a smooth environment or not. He even checks the food quality and if there are any such complaints in food the hostel in-charge ensures that actions are taken as soon as possible. While filling up the college registration form there a column for an opting hostel. The hostel selection isn't mandatory. The college also provides bus facilities for students outside the campus or locals. Our college is in between the city so the area around is too good to stay.
