Remarks

I applied for Dr Harishchandra Gaur University, Sagar but didn't attend because I wanted to take a break year. I was also not sure about my choice of course. After a break year, I took admission to GBU in B.Tech + MBA. I've completed my BTech [graduation] now I'm in the final year of my MBA. For admission, you've to register yourself on the college website. There is an entrance test called GBU-ET which is in CBT mode. This year it will be both online and offline. You can apply for more than one programme at a time and there is a separate fee for each application. For integrated courses, there are chances of upgradation in the 4th year on the basis of vacant seats. After clearing the entrance test there is a counselling session. You can also apply through Valid Test Scores. I gave the test in offline mode and the interview was also offline at that time. There is reservation and relaxation policy according to UP government policy and GBU reservation policy. There is a policy of sports quota also.

They can be tough but if you're thorough with the syllabus then it's not that tough. There are 200+ academic staff and a total of 3200+ students. I chose B.Tech + MBA [integrated] because I have intrest in this line.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
