Journey of college

I did not apply to any college other than Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology (SDBCT). Because before taking admission to SDBCT I have visited the college in my school time, and at that time they explained all details about the college. And a friend of mine also suggested I take admission to this college, so I chose SDBCT for further studies. I didn't avail any quota for admissions, they are totally based on the result of the 12th class i.e the marks should be above 55%. Apart from this, there is no personal interview or any kind of exam and age barrier for admission. The admission process was very easy. All the process was conducted by them. Proper guidance is provided by the counselor. He explained everything about the rules, fee structure, studies, faculty, and campus placement.

During my school time, I had a keen interest in computers. I am very fascinated by computers. In school time I didn't even know how to start a computer but I want to know more about it as I am very interested in it that's why I chose this course as my career option. All the faculties are master in technology and have a minimum of 3 years of experience. They are trying to solve each and every doubt of students. They appreciate their students for good deeds and give feedback to each student about where the student is lacking. They also conduct the unit tests and before taking a test they arranged a doubt session where they solve doubts of each unit. Talking about the teaching method they give real-life examples of each topic for better understanding. There is approximately a 1:30 ratio between faculty and students. In each semester there are total 4 tutorials and 2 MST's conducted so that the student is well prepared for their exams.

From the first-year campus, training is started. Communication skills and Aptitude classes are conducted every semester. Students will be eligible for campus placement from the pre-final year that is the 7th semester. In the 7th semester a campus placement training is started which includes subjects like English, Aptitude, Software Engineering, Technical quiz. There are many companies that visited the college and the top companies are TCS digital, Hexaware, Byjuy's, Nagaro, and Infosys. The average package is 4.50 LPA and the highest package is 12 LPA. A student can apply for a technical and nontechnical profile as per his interest. There are about 65% of students placed.

Talking about fees, a student fee is nonuniform in SDBCT, not all the students have the same fees and student fees are totally dependent on the student. The more students score in the 12th class the lesser fees they have to pay. In SDBCT the student fees are decided at the time of admission and it will be same for all 4 years. There is a scholarship scheme available for SC,ST and OBC students and central sector schlorship is also available for general category students whose score was above specified criteria in 12th class.

SDBCT is not only good in studies but also takes care of other activities. Tech fest is organized every year in the month of March- April. There are many events organized by the students along with the faculty like face painting, web weaver, coding competition, technical quiz in which inter-college students can also participate. Every year an annual function is also organized. All subject books, novels, magazines are also available in the library for students and faculties. All types of facilities are available in the classroom. Apart from this, every year sports activity is conducted in which there are many sports like ludo, cheese, basketball, football, cricket, chair race, carrom and many more.
