Entrance Preview
AIEEE was the examination through which one can get admissions in this college, apart from that there is also a state level entrance exam that can get you admissions in this institution. I chose this college because my performance dint drop me in any NIT or IIT based on my performance in the respective Entrance examinations. Apart from that the reputation this college has in Central India is at par with any National Institutes of Technology.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its definitely at par with the Nationally recognised Engineering Institutions, but the problem is that as it is located in a sub-urban city thus suitable exposure to students is an issue. It has got an excellent central library that it self is a greatest thing for explaining the standards maintained by the institution.
Internships Opportunities
No our college doesn't have this scope and the same has to be discussed for the application by the management.
Placement Experience
35 companies came in all for placement in college , however 30 of them belonged to IT sectors, for core branches the competition is a bit tough as the number of candidates applying for these positions is always more than vacancies offered by the firm. IT giant like TCS and Wipro were the major highlights, and rest all picked up 4-5 candidates,In core VE commercial vehicles, Balco were the major highlights. The base package here offered is 3lpa and an average of 3.5-4 lpa.
College Events
The college annually celebrates the Techno-cultural event OJAS that indeed as the name suggests that it is full of zeal and enthusiasm. All the states other engineering and management institutions indulge in the fest with lots of talent and look forward to gain something from the same.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is affordable and definitely a good one. The semester fees generally varies from 32000-35000 that seems okay for that facilities and standards a private institution is offering for its students. Along with that an additional examination fee is also to be given by the students for appearing the semester examinations. Apart from that the college also offers scholarships for meritorious students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes for extraordinary performance in the 12th board examinations complete fee exemptions are given to candidates.
Campus Life
Gender equality can be very visibly seen in the campus. The infrastructure is also at par with the top Educational institutions in the country and the fact that the huge Central Library that offers a enormous data bank to students to gather knowledge in all prospects possible is definitely a additional asset to the learner.
Exam Structure
The exams are same as in any other university. Semester examinations are held at the end of each 6 month tenure. A minimal fee is to be paid so that one can appear in the exams. The examination pattern and standards of question paper is also according to the standards of a Engineering Institution, however more emphasis to be given on practical skills as far as my opinion is concern.
Faculty
Talented and do possess the depth knowledge on the subject matter. However few faculties need to upgrade their teaching skills and a handful of them urgently need a profession switch as they are way too much talented for being such a profession. All in all the staff is apt for the standards offered by the college.
