Remarks

I applied to BIT Durg, SSGI and Rungta but after getting the information that SSGI provides maximum placements, I opted for this college. I am a General Category student so there was no special quota for me. Age should be greater than 16 and you can get admission if you were selected for this college in Counseling. I had a rank of 880 and I got a CSE branch in SSGI. Counselling was done online. We had to choose colleges and branch name and according to our marks, we were provided with the colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had a keen interest in computer languages so I opted for the computer science subject. 1:60 is the Faculty: Student ratio Most of the faculties have completed their PHDs or are undergoing PhD. All the teachers are well qualified. They have a very nice teaching method. Attendance is mandatory for each class. Every 6 months we had our term exams and in between the term exams, we used to have our 2 CTs (Class Test). CTs were easier to crack. If you have studied well in the classes then Term exams were very easy to pass.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 71595 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

It depends upon the student interest where they want to do the internships. College gives a list of companies where you can apply for your internship. The stipend varies from 5k to 25k. I worked on an IoT project and it gave a very good outcome.

Placement Experience

Students can become a part of campus in their 7th semester. Approximately 100 companies conduct their drive in SSGI and almost 50% of the students get selected through campus placements. I got selected through campus placement and I am currently working in an organization.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are in ST/SC/OBC quota then you will be provided with some scholarship. There were not many hikes in the fees in 4 years. A middle class person can easily afford the fees. If you have an interest in working on campus you can be provided with a campus job.

Campus Life

The fests are conducted every year in the month of Feb or March. They include a technical fest an annual fest. A hackathon is conducted every year as well where you can prepare a project in 24 hours. It is a great experience for college students. All kind of study materials can be found in the library. The college conducts a sports fest as well and a lot of cricket and football matches every semester.
