Entrance Preview

I gave the GLA entrance examination to get selected into it, I scored around 101 marks in the examination and after that, I was able to select any of the streams, so I guess that mark was enough to select a stream of your dream.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well I could say the course structure was a bit loose as they just started with the brand of the university but as soon as I reached to my final year I could see the change in the structure and they started adapting to the new structure. If you want a college that is more focused on placement then this is the one which you are looking for.

Internships Opportunities

Well, I don't know about the current status of this but college doesn't provide internship to a student. The only thing which they provide is a pre-placement during the 3rd year to the company.

Placement Experience

4

Well, placement is really good in this college. During my time renowned companies like Infosys,Wipro,ITC,Samsung, JK Tyre, VVDN, Blue Star and much more up to I guess 250 came to our campus. Infosys offers 3.25 LPA while Wipro and ITC close to 3 LPA, Bluestar offered 4.25 LPA , Samsung 4 LPA, JK tyre 6 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships yes they offer scholarships for students whose parents annual income is less then 1.5 LPA. I guess that's the figure not sure about it. You need to apply for this at the starting of the curriculum and once it gets approved you get return on timely basis.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is normal I guess, maybe on average guys are more than girls in college. They do organise workshops on embedded system, robotics and other stuff on weekend basis, you will get a lot to learn from the only thing which you need to do is spend and be available for the workshop as they are not free.

Exam Structure

Well, I would say it was chilled out and more sort of nicely organised to go through, Since it was university so we need not go some place else for giving the examination. The exam was divided into 4 parts for each subject 2 midterms of 20 marks, I main exam of 40 marks and 20 marks for assignment and attendance.

Admission

Well after the score I gave a call to the college administration to know whether I am selected or not as it was an online examination in different centers around your city. They asked me to come to the university along with all the essential documents required i.e. 10th & 12th mark sheets and other documents required for admission, it was not at all a hectic process.

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculty in the college are having their Ph.D. degree up in their sleeves whole the one who doesn't have are in the process to have that, so on the record basis, each faculty is nicely trained in their stream.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
