Honest and doubt clearing review of Chandigarh University

I was looking for colleges like Christ University and Chandigarh University but Christ University has closed the admission procedure. So I took Chandigarh university. I fill the form on their website and they called me and explain the admission procedure. Basically, they held the CUCET exam for admission but I was taking admission in December and then CUCET was over so they were taking admission directly based on the 12th mark. and my percentage was 81.33 in 12th so they gave me a 10% scholarship for my 1st-semester fee.

I chose this course because I was very interested in this field and also it's a technical degree in the branch of biology. The faculty student ratio is about 1:25 but here is a point that a faculty teaching you communication skills in 1st semester,/maybe teaching you microbiology in 2nd semester. Every faculty is post graduated or in their graduation. Some teachers will teach you outstanding and some teachers may be not able to make you understand well. Every exam is always on time and the standard of the exam is also very good.

I am in my 3rd semester right now so I didn't go through any campus placement yet but I asked my teacher and he said yes companies come for placement and you will be eligible for it when you will be in your last year. My plans after getting degree is to study further and to do P.G and then aplly for any job then your chances of getting hired is high and salary will also high.

The fee structure of the B.Sc Biotechnology course is 40000 per semester and the total semester we have is 6, plus 2000 per semester for exam and 2000 for security fee so the total fee of the course is around 254000. Scholarship depends on the marks you obtain in your CUCET exam that you can check on their official website but I took admission in late December 2020 and they were taking direct admission based on the 12th marks and my percentage was 81.33 so I was provided a 10% scholarship so my fee for 1st semester is 36000 and scholarship will only be avail in 2nd semester if you score marks above than 75%.

Due to lockdown, they held virtual events and cultural fest. I didn't spend my life at campus yet because of the corona situation out there but I visited once to the campus and I can say that the Infrastructure of the campus is awesome. You will find many food courts, areas to spend time with friends. And yes there is the playground to play basketballs, badminton, crickets and a lot more.
