B.Meghana's Review On Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute Of Technology - [PVPSIT], Vijayawada

EAMCET, I opted this college because it is one of the best colleges in and around vijayawada. Mostly affordable. And CSE department faculty have a good name for their effective teaching.

Course curriculum includes all the emerging technologies like big data concepts, Android mobile application development along with the traditional programming languages like C,java. We have labs for every practical subjects. For programming languages we have lab for twice a week. Each session lasts for 3 hours.

We don't have any our internship facilities yet. But we do have projects. If we are interested we can apply on own for internships. Our batch h students done their interns in vizag steel plant. And many students have done their projects across various platforms mainly concentrating on Web applications.

Some good companies like TCS, capgemini, tech Mahendra visit our college. Generally TCS does mass recruitment. Followed by tech Mahindra and capgemini offer good placements. Cigital india, virtual, IBM for M.Tech students and many other visit our college during the final year.

We have exclusive technical fest once in 2 years. Participation includes from all college students in our state. Technical and cultural fests are conducted every year. Apart form state wise competitions we have college level companions on every occasion in all sectors like technical, cultural, sports, arts and crafts.

Our college students pay highest fee in the state. It is due to the lab infrastructure we have. We pay 69800 as tutu in fee every year and 2280 as admission fee every year. During the time of admission we pay 5000 as building fund which will be refunded to us at the end of our course. Students who avail scholarships pay 34800 as tuition fee every year. They also get scholarships of about 5000.

Colleges supports bank loans and also scholarships from the government I did not avail any loan as I was completely unaware of all that during my admission time.

We have e-plus clubs for encouraging students in communications skills. We have cultural clubs for entertainment. Sports are regular. E-plus clubs conduct general group discussions, debates, JA My sessions, general quiz. Cultural activities we have every Saturday afternoon including active participation of students. We have women cell to encourage arts and crafts.

We generally have a semester for about 5 months Which include an internal mid exam for every 2 months. And the last 5th month is completely of external examination sources. We have internals and externals for both lab and theory exams. Out of 100 marks we have 30 for internals and 70 for externals for theory and 25 for internals and 75 for externals in labs.

College admission is done by EAMCET counselling. Based on our EAMCET rank we have to opt any 5 colleges with the desired branch. I have selected PVPSIT as my 1st option. After a week we will be informed about are we eligible for that college. Then we go to the college with confirmation slip and application forms to get admission.

Every faculty member helps in understanding concepts better. They also provide online sources where we can learn much better. The teaching goes every effectively. Covers the traditional concepts along with applications In present industry. Every faculty member completed their M.tech. and many of them are doing their Ph.d in various departments.
