I also applied for the same course in HPU Shimla but I got a seat in CU so I didn't go to Shimla I kinda like the Chandigarh area and facilities. In CU they accept addmission forms in all courses for some time and allocate seated to top merit bases
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are pretty difficult but teachers are good in their fields. They prepare us for every question in the exam. Term exams are after one year. And also teachers are doing tremendous work in teaching us online in this Covid lockdown situation.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also pretty well here. Students are selected for top companies' internship programs like Amazon, Microsoft Goggle, Flipkart, TATA, and other automobile sectors. Students get all details in an internship for working in a company.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is excellent in CU. Approx 250+ companies like Microsoft, Google, TATA, Aditya Birla groups, and many more of the line companies visit here for placements. Placement packages offered are pretty good with an annual 20 lack+ for top students and approximately 8-12 lack average packages. I am pretty sure of getting placement very soon.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are pretty high in this college. Because students of three states study in CU and the placement offers is pretty well. I am also trying to find a placement for myself. I have done interviews in 4 IT firms.
Campus Life
One of the main reasons to join CU is its campus. You get everything you need on a college campus. It got a gym, swimming pools, pretty gardens, messes with amazing food, seperate buildings for each department, hostel facelifts, and many more.
Interview Experience
In my course seat allocation is based on the merit list of all the applying candidates. The merit list is calculated on 12th marks and the test taken by you. Getting enrolled in this course is not that hard but you should've good marks or grades in 12th.
