Remarks
The admission process was quite easy. After the seat allotment they clearly mentioned the documents required for verification and fee structure . I hadn't opted for quota because I have decent rank. For the admission process you need a good rank in jee main entrance and there is no age restriction for the program.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose mechanical engineering because it has good scope in the future. The mechanical engineer has always had good exposure to the industry. The facility to students ratio is 1 is to 20. Faculties are highly qualified master's and doctorate degree holders. End semester happens twice a year and it is easy to clear subject because of thoroughly practicing lessons.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies provide internship opportunities to students like Infosys, tata technologies, cognizant with a stipend of around 15,000 per month. They have done with a real-time live project with solution outcome which enhances their learning curve.
Placement Experience
When the 7th semester starts a student gets eligible for attending placement drives. Infosys, Wipro, capgemini, Bosch visited during our time . Approx 240 offers are made in day one. Highest ctc 6lpa and lowest was 2.4lpa. Profile offered are Software engineer, business development executive, management trainee etc.70 % got placement in campus. I aiming for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike is justified for college because it has constantly provided a center of excellence for innovation and research. It has an advanced feature in the laboratory. I got a Medhabruti scholarship from govt of Odisha. Also, colleges provide financial assistance to needy students. Coming from a job perspective it is less opportunity for a mechanical engineer to get placed in college because campus brings only IT MNCs.
Campus Life
We have an annual fest once a year in the month of March, it is called Celegance. The library consists huge stack of an extensive range of books apart from the curriculum also. The classroom is equipped with a projector and whiteboard with a comfortable seating arrangement. We have an annual athletic meet once a year and also it conducts road awareness programs and yoga camps. They have a volunteer organization that takes care of an orphanage and is responsible for blood donation camp arrangements.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is equipped with WiFi throughout the premises. The hostel has a playground and basketball court. 24*7 security is available at the hostel which is essential for a hostel. Meal quality is good and it is prepared in an automatic kitchen in a hygenic way. The registration process is done during the admission process. Hostel management will help with everything you need.
