Remarks

The admission process is the same for all 4 government colleges (3 boys/streamwise and 1 girl/all streams) that is filling application form via the University of Rajasthan website when the admission windows start. Few days after the closure of the admission window all 4 colleges release the cutoff list with the candidate's name and percentile mentioned for transparency of all candidates and given 3 days to complete the admission of that list, the 2nd list is released, and so on till 4th list as most of the time the seats are filled just in 2 or 3 lists, so it's a tough competition to get a seat in government colleges. The cutoff list comprises candidates of all quotas in different pools of seats allotted to different categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS) also there is a 5 % addition to candidates having achievements in various fields of sports, NCC, NSS, and physically handicapped personnel when provided with subsequent certificates and proofs of the achievements.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course BCA is a good course for candidates having an interest in computer coding and getting knowledge which help in becoming a perfect programmer if done sincerely with hard work and dedication. The faculties in this college are all on visiting basis. The faculties are well qualified most are Mtech in computer science with teaching experience stretching for more than 6 years+ many professors have experience of 15+ years, but there is a slight inconsistency in the teaching as they are visiting faculty they sometimes don't come and another Issue is the holidays which breaks the flow of study. If this issue is solved then it is a good college to study ( all colleges have this particular problem in the City except a few so decide your college after talking to students on the campus and also visiting the campus).

Fees and Financial Aid

BCA and MCA both are Self-financed courses (SFS) so the fees structure is comparable to most colleges in the city. There are lots of scholarships offered by the government to students which are easily approved as this is a government college only. The list of all scholarships are posted on the notice board of the college with all information on the necessities to apply for the scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

College life is fun as there is a lot of time that has to be spent in the graduation period together. The sports activities are fun basketball and cricket are the main sport activity, football and volleyball being the secondary activity. The Library is good with lots of books for students to choose from. reading room with most mainstream newspapers and magazines available on daily basis. There are lots of extra co-curricular activities offered in college as dramatics, dance, singing, mimicry and etc, which are performed in the annual fest of the college "AQUAREGAI" and annual fests of different colleges (inter-state and inter-district).
