GLA University- Review

I have in my mind that I will do B. Tech from GLA university because my father used to work there as a personal assistant. I didn't get any quota but eligible students did get. Admission criteria are that you should have a minimum of 50 percent in 12 classes with physics, chemistry, and maths as your subjects and your age should be 17. For the admission process when you enter the college you will get an entry ticket and then you will move to the admission room then they will provide a tour of classes and facilities they provide and also tell you about their placement records then you have to give an entrance examination which was easy you can pass easily just some basic questions then the registration process starts you have to create your id on their website and submit your documents and fees and when you are registered you are ready for commencement of classes everything will be informed through your mail and messages.

I chose B.tech because I love to learn about programming and new technologies. Faculty is very helpful and makes you understand everything easily there are plenty of faculties available for students anytime they are ready to solve your problem. Faculties are highly educated. Most of them have done their doctorate their teaching method is awesome. Every year is divided into two semesters and every semester has two exams one is midterm and one ends term passing is easy if you focus only a little bit on the classes.

Companies like Airbus offers an internship as a software developer for a stipend of 20000 per month to 25000 per month. Company Huawei offers an internship for a software developer of 25000 per month stipend. Devslane offers internships of 10000 per month as an internship of a full-stack web developer. There are many projects like creating apps to solve some regular problems creating machine learning projects like finding whether a person has a chronic disease or not, predicting the hike in the price of bitcoins.

In 5 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. There are more than 240 companies that visited the campus some of them are amazon, Microsoft, tcs, Wipro, condensation, medlife, and many more. The minimum package offered is 4.5 lakh per annum by Infosys for the post of system engineer highest package offered was 32 lakh per annum by code nation for software engineer average package is 5 lakh per annum. An average of 76 percent of students got placement in top companies. After getting my degree I will do my job in a company and keep switching to higher job profiles.

I think fees are overrated for the course and every year they are increasing fees according to fees hike cost to study is increasing in a drastic manner every year. You get scholarships like up government scholarship and you will get also a scholarship according to your grades if you have a percentage of more than 80 percent in 12 classes you will get a scholarship of 20000. Placements are very good average placement rate is 76 percent and the highest package offered is 32 lakh per annum. Many MNCs and startups visit the campus every year. Dream companies like Amazon, Microsoft also visit the campus every year. You will also get many opportunities for internships with stipends like 20000 to 25000.

College conduct many fests like agrata in navratri, e- conclave , ABHUDAYA, TECHNOTSAV, Maitree. The College library has a huge number of books available in a vast number. In classes, furniture is well maintained and there are smart boards in every class and every class has air conditioners. Sports facilities are also at to notch you can get various sports equipment without any cost and every month they organize sports events. There are many clubs and social groups run by students for students like an abacus, javapie , literario club, ninad , ashayein (a social group for providing education to poor children for free).
