Remarks

It is a Govt College so it takes only Valid Rank holder in Jexpo for 3 years Diploma and who wants to join after ITI they should score good marks in Voclet exam. Additionally, you should have minimum of 45% marks in science in class 10th or 12th or both as per your previous educational record. SC, ST, PWD quota students get extra benefits and TFW candidates also avail the facility. If you want to start your career as a Metallurgical Engineer EIJE is a good choice. The admission process is smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Metallurgy because this stream has more opportunities for Jobs and Research work. The Student-Teacher ratio is 1:17 so it is quite good not the best. But the teachers are very helpful and try their 100% to give the students. They also share their industry experience also. Maximum faculties are M-Tech from reputed institutions. Every year we have two semesters along with Practical exams.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Placement Experience

Rashmi Metaliks, Kharagpur Metaliks(Tata Metaliks), JSPL, BRGD, TMPL, Kiswok Industries Ltd, and some other companies came for placement drive and they offer 11000-16000/month stipend as a DET. I had not taken this offer because I am doing B-Tech now on Metallurgy.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only 1000/year this is the fees structure here. No extra cost is hidden. Scholarships are also there and financial assistance is provided to the poor students who came from very rural places. Yes, they provide jobs in the Campus placement drive.

Campus Life

Campus life is very enjoyable, the classrooms need to repair but focus on the study, not on the bench or classroom wall. Every kind of cultural program is organized by the college authority. Test fest was my favorite.

GOOD AND BIG COLLEGE CAMPUS IN DURGAPUR

Course Curriculum Overview:

As civil department allows for both private and government job, so I selected this course. Faculty: student ratio is 40:60. All faculty are being post graduate and also teaching method is also good. In one year there is 2 semester and also class mock test, internal exam.

As I am in the second year 3rd semester so I have not faced any campus placement yet. But I heard from senior students that they got lots of opportunities in campus drives like BYJUS, Hrid Motors, Rucha Engineers, Mando Automotive, DBSI, and JAYA HIND.

Placement Experience:

Mainly the students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th Semester. Many companies visited in our college the most common company was Tata Steel, l&t, TCS, etc. The highest average package provides by the company is tata company, the package was most about 30000rs. Almost 50% of students are gate a job from our college and others are gated a new govt job or go to Btech. My plan is simple. After completing college, I want to achieve a govt job.

As this is the Ramkrishna Mission when we got into the college we feel very peaceful and go to the Mandir we can feel the peace. The environment of the colleges so good everywhere so many trees and there is a very big playground for all students to play with every day.

Principal Maharaj, teaching and non-teaching staff, present and ex-students always feel proud of the college. This is the best government diploma engineering college in West Bengal. The college campus is very peaceful. The students get a very good platform for their future.

You have to crack the entrance exam in West Bengal which is Jexpo to get admission to this college. You have to rank under 13000 to get into this college. Top Placement in 2020 for Metallurgy and Mechanical students.

After 12th I have appeared for the Jexpo exam then securing a good rank and through counselling, I get this college and Choose metallurgical engineering. EIJE is best for Mechanical and Metallurgy students

To get this college you have to score in Jexpo exam for 3 years Diploma program and voclet exam for 2 years Diploma after ITI and as per your last qualification you have to score minimum 45% in science. I have applied few more colleges but i choose it and Metaluurgy department becuase of its placement history and reputation also Howrah is better option for me than going to other areas.
