Entrance Preview
I Took TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ), i was in top 70 list in Counselling and got seat allotment in Anna univeristy - Department of Management Studies - MBA 3yrs Pattern under UGC/CGC norm and i wanted to pursue full time MBA degree while Working. So both my "Professional and Educational" Aspirations can go Parallel without compromising on either one.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course structure is best in class when compared with any of the b schools course structure in Chennai. The topics are equally weighted in terms of setting of question paper in exams and in understanding the interlinked management concepts with real time case studies. All the Cases mentioned in the book were based on clear statistics to take them for further research.
Placement Experience
For Part Timers No Placement because we were already working while enrolled in the course. In day college Out of 65 Candidates last year 55 were immediately places in top Banking and Software Support Companies in chennai which includes RBS, HDFC, Tata Consultancy Services and CTS.
College Events
We celebrated Tech Fest, Decode event, Organize Blood Bank, Dance Events, Celebrity Talk Show - we invite Actor Vijaykumar, Surya and SJ Surya and Leading Tamil Industry Directors. For management Cultural festivals we call top alumina Technology heads from IBM, google , commercial business industry, microsoft etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
My father is an EXARMY person, so their is an ARMYWARD Cashback Scholarship scheme which helped to get me 60% of my fees money back. However, there are other PM/CENTRAL scholarships like National Merit Scholarship Scheme, SC/ST Scholarship Scheme.
Campus Life
We have 60 :50 Ratio of Male and Female studying in Anna University. 10% are from other states of the country and between 8 to 10% NRI students studying in Anna University in various streams.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network is well aligned with various departments and the senior students were very helpful in choosing the right book materials for us for exams. Also they were helpful when we took subjective problems to them for solutions.
Faculty
The faculty are highly qualified, most them own PHDs and few of them have already been lecturing in IIMs. Few of them are writing their own books on particular mainstream books. Few of them are already taking PMP, quality classes in Corporate industries in Chennai and Finally not to ignore 2 newly appointed professors but their fairly good in terms of subjective teaching.
