Course Curriculum Overview

The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate,and doctoral programs in engineering and technology, management, medicine and health science. Science and hunamties laws. 20,000 students from across India and abroad. course syllabi ensure real life applications as well as theoretical conceptual understanding

Internships Opportunities

University has successfully completed it's summer internship process for the student will be allocated by the college. Various companies made internship offer. Each candidate has undergo the institute training for 20 days

Placement Experience

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for MBA is to pay annual amount Rs 1,75,000. Student with 95% in 12 yh examination are eligible for 100% scholarship in tuition fees. Students with 92-94.9 in 12th examination are eligible for 75% scholarship in tuition fees. The average package has increased slightly from INR 7.1 LPA in 2022 to INR 7.1LPA In 2023

Campus Life

There are other endless facilities of convenience offered at the campus of SRM chennai.such as cafeteria, prayer halls , ATMs bookstores, dining options, gym and others . The students are engaged with community radios,students clubs, cultural events,fitness centres and prayer halls.

Admission

In order to take admission in SRM , you have to pass the higher secondary exam from any recognized board in India with 60% aggregate marks in PCM subject. Also , the PCM subjects should be your core subject in higher secondary . Registration last date for phase 1 is April 13 and the same in June 12 2024.For reservation for particular course student and their parents should go directly to campus

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

From 3 sem college makes preparation for placement and by 4 they focus to place students TCS , Cognizant,Icici etc I'm planning to get settled in a well known company vth good package of salary in my future

Likes

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.
