Remarks

Uttaranchal University is one of the best universities in Dehradun. You won't find any other University as good as this one. The infrastructure of this university is one of the plus points which attracts a lot of students every year. This university has well organized classes, labs and everything which a student will require.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was enrolled in a Btech programme. The lecturers were excellent. They will help you in any way they can. The curriculum is also up to date in order to meet the industry's needs. They create an educational atmosphere in which students can reach their full potential in their chosen field and receive high-quality education in order to meet future difficulties.

The college is in an excellent location. The typical annual package is around 6-7 lakh rupees. Uttaranchal University's corporate relations and placement centre is adequately equipped to help students find the greatest job opportunities. Wipro, Capgemini, FSI, and other companies recruit students at universities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My four-year course costs Rs. 576000. Yes, I believe it is worthwhile for the money we spend. They provide a variety of undergraduate, diploma, postgraduate, and research programmes in the field of law, among other things. It's a well-known Uttaranchal University college where academics and students' whole development are always prioritised. There are also many scholarship schemes provided by the university.

Campus Life

The college's campus life was enjoyable. Its best aspect is that all of the activities are enjoyed by all of the students. The college's location and surroundings are excellent. All of the teachers and students are extremely cooperative. My college's infrastructure is outstanding, and it is even recognised for it. The classrooms are equipped with the most up-to-date equipment and services. Throughout the year, all of the spaces are kept clean and sanitary.

A Great Learning Experience with Good Industry Exposure

The college provides a vibrant campus environment with regular events, fests, club activities and opportunities to participate in different extracurricular activities. The overall campus atmosphere is energenic and provides good opportunities to stud
The faculty members are supportive and approchable and the college provides opportunities for students to develop various skills.
I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

Great Learning Experience with Strong Industry Exposure.

Likes

Campus and student Life , There are many Domain , activity , Hobby Clubs that gives opportunity to participate beyond academics
the Faculty members are supportive, experienced and approachable , practical learning and presentations make classroom more engaging
The university provides good opportunity for extra curricular , industry exposure and internships

Dislikes

we have small campus but it is actually good and really pretty
There are no clubs for Cricket playing Students

Placement Experience:

Social internship starts from the 1st year followed by a summer internship in 2nd year. Placements offer up to 40L LPA, with an average of 8.7L LPA and 13.5L LPA for the top 20% with good exposure and more.

I came to RIT Roorkee from Bihar for my MBA and I want to write this review specifically for students from Bihar and UP

Likes

The campus environment is good and you get students from different places, so you get a chance to interact with people outside your home state.
Faculty support can be good, especially when you are regular with your studies and approach them when you need help.
For parents from Bihar, having accommodation within/around the campus can make the transition easier.

Dislikes

Hostel and college rules can feel strict for students who want a lot of freedom.
You will need to put in your own effort for coding, communication skills, internships and other career preparation. The college alone cannot guarantee a good career.
The environment is fairly structured, which can be helpful if you want to stay focused on your studies.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at Roorkee Institute of Technology are quite diverse, with a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that supports students through resume building, mock interviews, career guidance and recruitment drives. College life-A Wonder of life

Likes

The surroundings are really appreciated .But the only negative thing is tiediness in the campus
My college is very simple and its going in very smooth .Campus gives good feel to the students.Here people from out of state is also there so socially also it is good.
Faculty is also good it contains very highly educated faculty .

Dislikes

Surroundigs untiedness i.e the surroundings not clean
Lots of student union rushh makes the surrounding untiedy.

I choose econmics for my further studies, as I have curiosities to learn more about economics .Real.life examples expalnation influnced me most to learn and study economics. National Eduction Policy boosts the learning power of the students which is improtant for further academic progress.

Likes

Discipline in our college is too good, among students as well as teachers
In our college, children are taught different beneficial activities.
Our college also teaches well, all lectures are on time.

Dislikes

Since it is a government College, politics also goes on in the college at some places which causes trouble.
The exams are very tough which all the students have problem with and they also check it strictly.
Placements cost only 1 or 2%, nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am preparing for a government job, so I took admission in this course just to get a graduation degree and not for any other reason. There should be some improvement in the lab and also in the exam pattern. The timing of our exam is 2:30 hours which is less time because the exam is lengthy.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

A good and big campus area, neat clean from everywhere.
A big library from which you can buy book (library fee: ₹500)
A well maintained computer lab having lots of computer with latest technology.

Dislikes

The classrooms are little bit old and need renovation.
There is no air conditioning in the classrooms

In this college the students are eligible for campus placement in the second last semester of there course, and the companies like wipro,TCS etc gives offers to them. The highest package is 4.5 lac in our college. The percentage of students should be above 60 percent to get a campus placement.

I chose this course because I have done my graduation in Statistics so this Masters's course has improved my profile and given me better opportunities for my career growth. Faculty are well experienced. Professors have done PhD in their domain and have a good amount of experience. Term exams are semester-wise twice a year. It is easy to pass if we study on a daily basis.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges.
