Remarks

Good InfrastructureCollege located inside the cityMaximum number of placement drives. (2013-2017 was first batch of Civil so there were very few core compannies coming up)Good scope for Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science aspirants.

Fair enough understanding the industry requirement and the current market trend.Industrial visits and internships plays a vital role. Some internships are provided to meritious students arramged by the college itself.

Placement Experience

The drives conducted include tech giants like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini. Most of the start up companies are also invited which take in a major chunk of the desirous students to join the firm. The college also arranges some pooled drives with other colleges to bring in more oppurtunities.

Techical fest (TECH- FEST) and Cultural fest (TRI-FEST).They were very big in participation and full of enjoyment. Some popular celebrities are invited for the concerts. Cultural nights are also celebrated where in students participate in dance and music competition to show case their talents.

It had wifi enabled campus.Digital library.New labs for Civil Engineering were built around 2016.Computer Science, Mechanical and Electronics labs are highly equipped.Dedicated CAD/CAM Lab for Civil Engineerning stream

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't have any specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course . The hands on projects have helped me to understand the practical use of the concept. Opportunities for collaboration and feedback from professionals from the industy will increase the learning application. Per semester the frequency of exam is 3 . The difficulty level is not that much as it is in the semester .

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

Eligibilty in the course is Subject in Intermediate ( 12th ) should include English & Maths. Apllication & Admission was done directly reaching the admission cell. MY MCA JOURNEY IN TRIDENT ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY, BBSR

Inside Trident Academy of Technology: A Student's Perspective

The admission process was a little bit easy. All we have to do is book a seat their in advance by giving 20k (refundable) or just by applying the counseling. Yes it has reservation benefits. Sc/St can get the seat even if they secured low marks than general. The time gap between one to another semester exam is approximately 4 months. And yes the exams are a little bit difficult as it is being held by BPUT not by our own college. The admission process is already great but one thing is the administrative officers are big manipulators.
