College campus is best as we enter the college
Spending time with friends at the campus in free tym is just like awesome
All facilities are available in campus playground, swimming , library etc.

Dislikes

Canteen is small according to student population
Sitting space in canteen is not as much gud
Some appliances are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Government Degree College for Women- Academically marvelous with good infrastructure.

Likes

The campus beautiful and very well maintained. It has a beautiful playground and is located in the middle of the town.
This college is safe and secure for girls. It has some unique features like Committee Against Sexual Harassment, Anti Ragging Committee etc.
The campus has drinking water facilities, good canteen with good food and great administration.

Dislikes

The sitting arrangement for the students is not upto the mark.
The college does not provide good transportation facilities for students coming from far flung areas who face a lot of difficulty in reaching the campus.
The washrooms need improvement. The hygiene needs to be improved. More washrooms should be constructed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very interesting. The specific areas that influenced my decision are Number Theory and and Calculus. In this course we're taught everything that we need to pursue higher studies like M.Sc. The exams are conducted by University of Kashmir and the difficulty level is average. The faculty is highly qualified and the teaching method employed is to deliver a lecture and it can be improved by making the sessions more interactive and immersive by increasing the use of technology like smartboards.

The way of teaching of our Faculty and helping nature of the Helping staff

Dislikes

Different types of unreasonable restrictions
no specific or separate time for games and physical education
Due to presence of central jail near college

Placement Experience:

Model Institute of engineering and technology office offers promising campus placement opportunities for student across various disciplines, ensuring diverse carrier pathways and prospects for computer science engineering student. The campus placement drives opens door to prestigious companies such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, and Mitsubishi providing invaluable opportunities for students to kickstart their carrier in leading tech firms. On the other hand student pursuing BBa and BCom degree have access to placement opportunities with promising fast moving consumer goods FMCG companies, these companies offer Avenue for students to apply their business, acumen and management skills Why the BBALLB honours program is a new addition to Miet , it is worth notice that the absence of immediate placement opportunity does not detect from the overall value of the program as the program matures and establish its footing. It is expected to attract different law, firms, etc

HEART AND SOUL OF ALL THE COLLEGES IN J&K

Good aspects- this college is one of the best colleges in J&K. Lies in the heart and soul of the city. A brilliant place to study and get close to nature too because of its geographical location. This college has good infrastructure and most important the finest professors of the state and all are PhD qualified with good experiences. Labs are highly maintained with the availability of all the important chemicals needed. Hostel facility is available for boys/girls. Full security as the PCR is always one around at night. Bas aspects- due to harsh climate the college remains closed for three months during winter. Also, the student-teacher ratio is a bit high. Admission process opens in the month of April/May every year. And the selections are made on merit basis. There is a reservation for SC/ST/OBC. Reason for selecting this college. One reason was that all my friends had taken admission there and also its geographical location attracted me. I checked about this college on Google....Read More

Description of my college

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you....Read More
