Life at ACVM

The admission process starts after giving the Entrance Exams such as NEET-UG or RPVT. If you clear the cut-off and during councilling you will get the seat without connecting with the college, other thinng after the neet result is declared you connect directly with the college and your admission done.

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.

There are many scholarships that are provided by the government and some MNCs such as MSD etc. There are no campus jobs availabe as of now, in future you may get. but you can work with different departments on publishing research papers, review articles etc.

The most important thing for me on campus is the Clinical Complex, where you get to utilize and apply whatever you have learned in the previous years collectively, for whatever case is presented from dogs to horses. Apart from this sports week was a much-awaited time of the year, all the seniors and juniors used to compete with each other. And there were days when we use to spend time doing rotations at Farm Complex.
