College has many courses which are not available in another college. There is many students from different states and even from another countries. College has very good record in sports activities and gave chance to students.
Entrance Preview
I want to do B.sc. in microbiology stream which is only available in guru nanak khalsha college, yamunanagar. This course is available only in this college throughout the haryana. I have got admission on the base of merit list.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have studied mainly three subjects botany, zoology and microbiology. in microbiology i have studied about different fields of microbiology including medical, industrial etc.
Internships Opportunities
Stiped given by haryana government to SC and BC students are available to the students. College offer 3 months training programme in any company or research institute which help students to interact with companies/institutes.
Placement Experience
Placements based on the departments wise in microbiology, college do not offer us placement. But in case of courses like industrial chemistry and chemistry, many pharmaceuticals were contacted to college.
College Events
College organised many big events and cultural festivals. During our session, college organised cultural programme every year. college organised university level cultural event in which all the colleges from university participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible for students college is government funded. So fee structure is not expensive i have paid 2-3 thousand per year. There is no extra fee for practicals. fee structure is equal to government colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have no knowledge for such type scholarship. But some students take study loan from bank by taking peemission from college.
Campus Life
Girls students are more in life science courses as compare to arts. There is no partition between students on the basis of religion or cast. We have enjoyed lots during our free time or labs time with practicals. Parties were organised on the occasion of birthday in department or in pg also.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility was given only to girls students. But seat are limited in hostel. Maximum students live on rent in pg. Average rate according to our time was 400-600 rs per month for room. 1500 rs/month was paid for food.
Alumni/Alumna
Interaction with seniors are very good. Many alumni are in contact and we take suggestions from them when needed after college,many seniors were also meet in higher course and help us.
Exam Structure
During exams proper time and gap was given to students for preparation by college. During regular lecture schedule free lecture was there to relax the students.
Faculty
We have the highly experienced and qualified faculty in each subject. Mostly teachers are doctrate in their respective subject and have many year experiene.
