Remarks
60% in Intermediate with any stream can apply for B&I Course in our college. The application form will be live on the college website from April onward You can fill out the form by paying 800. Also, you can fill in multiple courses after that you will be called for an entrance examination followed by an interview Then selected student will be called for documents verification and then after you will have to pay your admission fee. But due to covid selection can be on the merit list then followed by an online interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to be in the Banking sector why I chose this course. The faculty were experienced and knowledgeable They are always willing to help students except most of them are humble and well-to-do. They all have a full teaching experience many of them holding Ph.D. and Masters degrees There are mainly 6 exams and 6 mid sem exams. You will have to good knowledge about your subjects then only you can pass your exams otherwise you can be in trouble you can even fail with 1 mark so be careful about this particular thing.
Internships Opportunities
Few companies visit here for our department mainly they came here to recruit IT students and BBA students and max package is 3-4L per annum and Avg is 2.5L per annum so yes if you want to work you can go for placement. Most of the students opt for higher studies for a better opportunity.
Placement Experience
Placement in our department is not that great Jobs are offered by few companies like TCS. Companies start visiting campus from the 5th Semester onwards but mostly BBA and IT Students got placed Same for internship. So placement wise Out department is not performing That Great but yes if you have enough knowledge you can be placed off-campus as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Few is a bit higher in our department it is 52k per year for General students and Bc-I and SC STs there are some relaxation, You can get 12-40K from Jharkhand government by filling E-Kalyan and From last year Bihar government has also introduced post metric scholarship for Bihar students. Minorities students can fill out the form on NSP by the central government. So basically there are lots of scholarship options. You can also apply for education loans from any state government for that you will have to do some research.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is good There are 2 canteens where we usually hang out with friends Infrastructure is also good to lift is there but only for professors and for physically challenged students. The library is there you can issue any books from there by paying just 1 rupee and There are some departmental libraries as well Some of the clubs are NCC NSS Rotaract That will help you in your overall development Xavier fest organized every year by the college but due to covid, it has been canceled from last few years.
