The management is terrible. Getting any work done is hectic, and you have to roam around for hours, days even to get things done.
Entrance Preview
I gave the HSc and scored 61.5%. I want to pick up advertising as a career and BMM was the only field available.
Course Curriculum Overview
Informative. A lot of focus is on practical knowledge, rather than theory. Get to learn a lot more than what books can teach. Clever projects help understand real world scenarios.
Internships Opportunities
I have done my internship at a Digital media agency called Fruitbowl Digital, and got a stipend of 5,000. Other people got chances with VH1. 9XM, etc. The stipend offered was varied, and I can't put a fixed amount. Some didn't have a stipend at all.
Placement Experience
I haven't attended a placement meet, as I am still in my S.Y.I am not entirely aware of the companies that come and what packages are offered.
College Events
National hosts the famed Cutting Chai fest. Colleges from all over town participate, and it is a largely festive event. The auditoriums are always full for every event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Coming from an Engineering background, the fee structure was very cheap comparing 1 lakh, to 20000 INRThe fee includes costs for the library and the IV.
Fees and Financial Aid
I know of no such loan or scholarship facility available. There is a scholarship for OBC's from what I have heard.
Campus Life
In my course, there are fewer girls than there are guys. The people are really cool, and there are enough places to chill around. Linking road has a lot to offer.
Hostel Facilities
There are no hostel rooms as the college is right in the middle of the city. There are a lot of PG's available around though, which cost around Rs. 10000 to 15000.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were really sweet, and chilled out from my experience. They were ready to party when needed and work when it was. They were very helpful, and gave decent advice about which teachers are not to be trifled with.
Exam Structure
The exams were back to back, day after day. Though the curriculum was fairly easy, so it wasn't very hectic.
Faculty
The faculty was helpful, and amicable. I can contact the teachers at any time in the day if I have any queries. They helped solve lots of doubts, and had a good attitude towards the course, and the field.
