Admission is through the Jee mains exam, if you have 80 percentile in jee mains and above you are in the top batch of the college. Also if you receive 90% in boards. In 12th class, you must have Maths, Physics ad chemistry to take admission in B.E (CSE)

The course curriculum is very similar to a school, there are many exams sometimes I feel more than from school. Exams are categorized into different categories such as ST(1,2,3,4,5), FA(1,2,3) and End term(1,2,3). The result is on the basis of the average of these exams or best out of 5. The faculty is excellent with great expertise in their field.

There are approx 300+ companies came for internships each year, they provide different roles such as SDE, SWE, FullStack, frontend, backend, cyber security, data science etc. Some of the companies are: razorpay, juspay, playsimple, amazon, origo, rario, josh tech, etc.

Chitkara University has a placement cell that facilitates students with placements as well as internship activities. In 3rd year you get a chance to sit in the companies to get the internship and the PPO is based on your performance also if you are rejected by company you get more chances to sit in the company again.

Fee structure is different every year. In the year 2019 fees is as follows: 1.4 lacs /year only academics. 49700 per semester for hostel, mess, and laundry. There is no scholarships available even to the top scorers of the batch. They provide load letters as financial assistance.

The campus is not very large enough to explore but it is very decent as the environment is very pleasant. You can meet students from the different corners of India also you get international exposure, students from Nepal, Bhutan also study here. Also the infrastructure is very good, there is a dedicated area for gym, tennis, and basketball.

I have opted for the hostel named Aryabhata, the facility is good, in one room there are 3 students. Warden is very strict in terms of attendance, if you are not in rooms at the time of attendance they will fine you 100 rupees.
