For the BPharmacy Course, you should've completed +2 Via science with an average of 50 in the PCB/PCM group. Admission For the College is on the basis of the CET Exam conducted by the Maharashtra Technical Board of Education. You can also apply for Degree Course in College through your NEET exam score. There is a reservation is available for Students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason behind choosing B.Pharmacy Course is because there are lots of opportunities in the medical sector and after the COVID-19 the opportunities are multiplied. There are a lot of Career or Jobs Opportunities after B Pharmacy Degree, Which includes, Analytical Chemist. Food and Drug Inspector. Hospital Drug Coordinator. Drug Therapist. Chemical Technician. Drug Technician. Drug Inspector. Health Inspector. A brief account of faculty: student ratio : I could say it's 1:25 Different teachers are available for different departments such as pharmacology, pharmaceutics, chemistry and pharmacognosy. 5 teachers in college are poses M.pharmacy and PhD degrees. The remaining teaching faculty have at least a Bpharm and m.pharm degrees. 5 unit tests and 2 sessionals are conducted every semester (6 months). They are much tougher than you think. But it helps to prepare for the University semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
I've got an unpaid internship at the hospital pharmacy of Appolo hospital, Nashik as a pharmacist assistant. As an assistant pharmacist, your work is to dispense the drugs and medicines as per prescription under the inspection of the senior pharmacist.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements only in the last (8th) Semester. There are few companies such as TCS, Wipro, sunpharma and gsk limited visited colleges last year for campus placements. The highest Ever packaged get in college was 2 years ago which is 4 LPA. Other students get an average package of 2.5-3 LPA. Most of these placements are in the manufacturing department. The percentage of students getting placements is 35-40% I've also planned to apply for campus placements in the last semester of my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure for the Kk Wagh College of Pharmacy, Nashik is a lot costlier than it should've. Many types of scholarships are available for Students. But you can get only one at once. It kinda sucks. There is no financial assistance is available in the college for studies. You have to apply for a loan all alone. The college has no campus job which gives you any stipend.
Campus Life
Every year, College conducted an annual fest is called ‘spandan' in the last week of February. The college has a small library with a seat occupation of 30 students only. The library has a librarian and two Clerks. There are no amenities conducted in classrooms Alongside the annual fest, sports event is also arranged every year which included 3-4 sports. There are no more extracurricular activities other than this.
Hostel Facilities
I would like to say that Hostel facilities in kk Wagh College are way greater and more beneficial than any other college. Hostel had 400 hosteller capacity and 200 rooms in which two roommates were in each room. Hostel mess has great meals you can get in the area. Its menu varies every day of the week. The registration process for admission to a hostel is just easy. College hostel has a 60000 fee per year which included living and mess. You have to pay 3000 rupees as a deposit in the first year.
