The eligibility criteria was just 50% in your high school. And there is a Chandigarh University office in my city so I applied through that office. I also visit the campus to see the vibe is and what is the academic curriculum.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 5-6 main subjects per semester. And in the 2nd year, we have to choose the specialization. The specializations are Tax, Marketing, eCommerce, and Accounting. There are so many extracurricular activities in which I participated a lot.
Internships Opportunities
The opportunities are very limited so you have to maintain those skill levels which are companies are accepting. There are many local companies in Chandigarh which allows you do to internship from the college side. You have to make the training project about all the things which you learned in your training.
Placement Experience
In the 5th semester, you can eligible for sitting in placement. And you can also apply for off-campus placement too and the college is also given the chance to do an internship in the college itself. Around 30% of students get placement and many students don't want to sit in placement because they want to do their Post graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 45,000 per semester and the total 3-year fee is around 3,00,000. There are scholarships which you can take and take the scholarship upto 90%. But you have to maintain the minimum percentage for every semester scholarship.
Campus Life
There are so many fests in Chandigarh University. Almost every 15 days you have 1 Tashan Nites in which the celebrity or singers are coming so you can enjoy that too. There are so many societies you can also join that.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very good and the food is also average. There is strictness in hostel you have to Mark attendance daily in the evening. And there is also timing for both boys and girls. And I also want to share that there is no ragging at all.
