Remarks

No bad remarks for my college it was my learning centre and I learnt a lot from there i respect my teachers. They are our well wishers i enjoyed my studies there i'm feeling blessed.

Entrance Preview

I passed with non medical and after that I took admission in B tech TV & Film production media technology, it was entrance exam and personal interview and I got 6th rank out of 550 students and got admit for 4 year course.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was basically based on practical knowledge they have all the creative field subjects in the course and we also got workshops from expertise. Expedites were really knowledgable and we got new things from them.

Internships Opportunities

I got my internship after 1st year completion, I got internship at Red chillies with 7,000 stipend. I got internship in researcher I did lot of research work for a show concept. And later on I got selected for a job as an assistant director.

Placement Experience

Job offers were there from the university cell, but I got my own job. I got job in 2nd year only in a big named company, I got permission from my Vice chancellor to took my job in 2nd year and I went back every 6 months exams till 4 years.

College Events

Media fest in this festival we welcomed no of guests from outside and celebrated with them Diwali Mela it's festival and religious as well Yearly fate it's Bhangra programme dances to cultural programmes, cultural events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was expensive because I'm not from very rich family background, my sister were also studied with me in same class so we had to pay double fee after 6 months. My dad is government employee so it was hard to pay for fee hostel fee mess charges etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah I got 2 years scholarship because I got 1st rank for 2 years i got 12,000 amount return in 2 years.

Campus Life

It was best time of life really enjoyed a lot and loved the life full of fun time because at that time no pressure of work responsibility and free from everywhere. Worlds best time is college time when we are in between 19-22 years old.

Hostel Facilities

It was good all over I'll give 7 out of 10 hostel rooms were appropriate. We stay 2 students in a room we had common washrooms and and our mess they provide extra on demand food as well it was great experience overall.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was 100 marks, out of 100, 70 marks was written exam and 30 marks of practical. Written exam time is max 3 hours and we had total 5 subjects.

Faculty

Faculty was really good we learnt a lot from them all the professors are hard working and I gained a lot. Professors were really knowledgable and they practised us every day. We got practical knowledge from them.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
