Remarks

I didn't join college through entrance exam.I have joined through consultancy.The entrance process in my college is through EAMCET exam.There are also reservations benefits to join in our college.Score better rank to join in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was very much interested in coding and wanted to learn much about software and get job in good MNC.There is good faculty in our college with good qualification and teaching experience.Our college is affiliated to JNTU and there are 2 semester every year and it is bit difficult to pass the exams.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Very few internship are offered and only few students take part . Projects are done by the students as part of the course under the guidance of faculty.Companies like wipro and Infosys offer internships.

Placement Experience

In fourth year the students are allowed to placement.Wipro Accenture techmahendra Infosys are the companies visiting our college.If the student is not placed in campus placement we can also attend the placement off campus .

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a fee reimbursement from telangana government and the amount to be paid is 13000 from total fee 55000.The eligibility for scholarship is to qualify eamcet exam.Name of the scholarship is epass.There are also campus placements in our college and companies like techmahendra aacenture wipro are good .

Campus Life

Shivaji fest cultural fest and most of the festivals are celebrated in the college.There are 4 libraries and good availability if books.They are no separate clubs or social groups but events are conducted and interested people take part .sports are also part of the schedule.

Worth considering for your tech career

Likes

The college starts focusing on skill development from the first year instead of waiting until placements
The campus environment is positive and motivates you to stay productive and keep learning
The faculty is approachable so its easy to ask questions and get guidance whenever needed

Dislikes

The workload sometimes can feel intense during project submission weeks
I would like to see more cultural events and entertainment activities throughout the year
As it's still relatively new so there's no proper placement data yet

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Likes

The coding culture is the best thing about NIAT. There are very frequent coding competitions that makes students actually learn things and improve their skills.
The faculty members are very knowledgable and supportive. They are also very friendly and helps everyone when in doubt.
The curriculum is totally updated and new. The use of latest technology and AI is very much focused on. Also provide internships from 1st year itself

Dislikes

The strict rules are a bit too much. The pressure is real and becomes difficult to deal with soetimes
There are hardly any cultural activities or programs. All focus is given on coding and tech related programs.
Its still new and no batch has graduated yet so its kind of difficult to record the placement rate

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Likes

As i joined into marri laxman reddy institute ,The campus is in a village bakcground it feels so nice to live over their .We do have several sports commisions in our college.
Our college provides sports facility and The campus was so hugee ,The infrastructure is very useful(i am talking about digital teaching lab equipments and all)
The teachers were so friendly with the students and the college has a perfect strcture category for every department .

Dislikes

The teachers were so nice but the college and teachers doesnt support student to enhace the student personal growth.The teachers were take the class by learning the ppt without any conceptutal representing
The infrastructure is good but thier is no maintainance in the college,Campus feels huge but it degradss interms of maintainance and enhance the campus intemrs of neatness .it feels so that after we return back from the holidays
Most importantly,the canteen food is worst.My friend face an incident that he got a dead frog in the manchurian rice.And the food is most coastly maintains low quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Likes

Things I liked they won't charge if they put any event,annual day, they will only charge for farewell that's common l thing in every college they don't show any biased over girl or boy , they won't restrict if boy and girls sits together
They kept more events in 1st year we used to attend them

Dislikes

They stopped keeping events after 2nd year
Lecturers are particular to there subjects like they taught CN subject for 2nd year the same lecture is teaching other subject in next semester
Security watchmens are so strict than clg management

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Good academics , poor facilities

Yeah our clg faculty is so Supportive and knowledgeable
Our college good environment and good interaction
Our clg has better infrastructure like labs and library

Dislikes

Our college doesn’t conduct events frequently
The major one is placement opportunities should be improved
And also adminsrative process is slow sometimes

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

My college story

Likes

New infrastructure when I joined it is like a old structure now they are improving it
Teacher's are very nyc to us I don't know about the juniors
Peaceful no sound pollution u can enjoy it as much as u want

Dislikes

Favortism like some teachers only care about some students
Money everything should come from the student's pocket
They force u to pay the college fee as soon as possible or else they put lot of charges

Placement Experience:

Final year is eligible for campus selection Microsoft turtle Accenture wipro mahindra etc., near to 50 54 lpa is highest but it is out side the campus lowest is 2 lpa 100 people 40 percentage will get job Job and bussiness don't know When will be the layoff so sidde hustlel

Likes

Sufficient time for developing skills in various fields
No financial pressure on students for examinations
Comparatively better placement rate and stats

Dislikes

Campus size, it is very small and insufficient
Infrastructure is very minimal and doesn't look like an engineering college
No hostel facility for non-locals, no bus facility for day scholars

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

The equipment and training classes are really good

Dislikes

Faculty is not that good they are not aware of the topics they are teaching itself amd they are learning along with the students idk why they hired them as professionals to teach us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed

Good campus

First we need to write the emcet entrance exam after intermediate, then only we can select the college or otherwise we can go to any college to join but we need to pay the admission fee. Admission fee will be different from one college to other based on our financial status we can join the colleges. Otherwise, if we get a good rank we can get seat in good college based on our performance. First, in our college, we went to take the admission and we made payment for the admission and registration done and our seat is confirmed. It took us one day to do everything. If we cant another course to join we need to pay more admission fee for different courses, it is based on what course we choose the admission fee will be different. And for the preparation of the entrance exam we need to take extra classes, exam will be a bit tough so we need to prepare for it bit earlier because we need to get good rank among all .
