Remarks
The admission process was quite easy. Initially, we have to fill out an admission form which costs around 500 which one can find on a university website and then we have to give an entrance exam and its cut off is around 70%, GLA gives you 3 attempts to clear the exam. Eligibility criteria for admission are 50% in 10th and 12th. If you visit the campus before or at the time of admission GLA provides the whole campus tour to the student and their parents.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good and faculty members are excellent and well experienced most of the faculty members are IIT or NIIT graduates. Faculty members of GLA are quite supportive and helpful not only in class but also outside the.
Internships Opportunities
GLA provides companies with internships also but not much. Generally, internships are unpaid. After the summer vacation of 1st year, GLA asks every student to upload a training certificate whether it is a valid course or an internships certificate etc.
Placement Experience
GLA pays major attention to its placement cell and it has a good outcome almost 98% of students of my batch are placed in top MNCs or other organizations. The average placement package is around 650000. The placement process starts at the end of the third year but GLA starts the preparation of the students for the placement from the starting of 2nd year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of the course is around 150000 per year and it keeps increasing by 2000 every year. One can pay the fees in two instalments. Hostel fees vary every year from 45000 to 80000 and mess fees are 30000 every year. Students who have good scores in JEE MAINS or in 12th also get scholarships accordingly in 1st year and if they maintain there CPI the are provided with scholarships throughout the course. You can also apply for UP GOVERNMENT scholarships.
Campus Life
Campus life at GLA University is quite exciting. There are various clubs in GLA like ninaad, Drishti, E-Cell, abacus etc. and various sports clubs also and these clubs organize various inter college as well as intra colleges events on the campus. In GLA there is a complete growth in the personality of a person.
Hostel Facilities
GLA has lots of hostels which are differentiated on the basis of the year like 2nd year has there hostels in different areas and other years in different areas. There are AC hostels as well which one can take from 2nd year onwards. If we talk about girls' hostels and their security then GLA has given special attention to it as girls' hostels are guarded by 8 to 9ft high boundaries which are completely fenced with a current of 1000 volts. GLA has guards all over the campus for the security of students.
