Good College

The admission process was very smooth. The application form is provided on the college website itself. It is published in the month of April-may and it is free of charge. Or we can take the entrance exam which includes all colleges in the state. I took an entrance exam. After the declaration of results, we were called to verify documents. I didn't avail any reservation benefits. When we entered college, some faculty provided us with the office address where document verification was done and after that is was asked do I want to stay in a hostel to which I said yes. Then my hostel room was also allocated the same day. I have been told I can start living in the hostel from today itself and my parents can stay in the guest house. And also we have been told when the classes will start. The campus is huge and management is also good.

I choose Btech because I had an interest in it. Faculties in my department knew their subjects very well. They were experienced enough to know how the subjects will help in the industry. The faculty-to-student ratio was good, There were 30 students in class, so each student received proper attention. Exams were very timely and they were easy to pass because the teaching method was very good. And there was enough material provided in the library to study about the exams with the previous year question papers.

Some companies provided internship opportunities along with pre-placement offers. The projects were based on the IT industry. The experience was nice. The industrial internship is compulsory in the 7th semester.

In the seventh sem students become eligible for placements. A lot of companies visited for placements like Cognizant, Cisco, Hexaware, Publicis Sapient, Amazon, Josh, Fis, Wipro, Ta Digital, SAP Labs, and much more.

The fees are okay compared to the facilities we have. There were a few thousand hikes each year in fees. Hostel fees were a little extravagant. There was 2-3 scholarship provided each year. In the final year, we are also provided with an industrial internship.

"Celegance" is the name of the annual fest and it is conducted in the month of Feb-march. It is a 2-day long fest. There are many books provided in libraries along with free wifi. Classes are also well equipped but classes don't have AC. There is lift in the computer science building but not in the electrical building. Sports day is also conducted in Jan along with a 3-day long hackathon. There are many clubs on campus-like google DSC club, a drama club called "anubhuti", music club, dance groups, and more.

In the girl's hostel, 4 girls live in non-AC and 3 in AC room. Each is provided with its own light, fan, study table, and almirah with locker. The menu is different each day but the food is not good. The registration process is very easy. Rented rooms are also available within 1 km and they are safe and affordable.
