Remarks

The examination process consists of a Scholarship cum admission Examination Test named CUCET. I got a 50% Scholarship on the basis of my CUCET score and my score for CUCET is 84 out of 100 marks. I haven't found any biased in the examination as the CUCET examination is Totally fair.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is as upto date to the IT industry as we were taught by the best faculty who has itself is either Doctorate or Masters. Faculty Student ratio is like 1:39 as in each section there are two groups Group A and Group B and in each group there are 39 students and for them, there are 1 faculty is assigned.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like JP Morgan Chase offered internships in different roles to their students with stipends of 40,000 per month. Projects are up to you how much you are capable of making numerous projects offered by your Department.

Placement Experience

From the Pre-final year, students become eligible to sit in the Placements Drives. FANG Companies visited every year or after every alternate year. The highest Package is 52 Lakh offered by Chartered Global to Btech CSE specialization students. 90% of students get placed. I also want to place after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good and best if you have the talent to avail of the scholarship. Chandigarh University is the only private university which is NAAC A++ aggregated and to avail of scholarships you have to clear the CUCET examination taken by Chandigarh University.

Campus Life

The annual fest is CU fest. There is plenty of tech Fest occurring every month like Hackoverflow, Hackersociety and many more. The books availability is like you will get every new to old books in his Library. The national-level sports events are also taking place every month.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is like most of the rooms are 4 Seater. Mess food is good enough to eat. Registration of the Hostel facility is taken care of by the CUIMS app or website. Kharar is the nearest place where the local market is situated and you will get plenty of Rooms and Flats there.

Hostel Fee: INR 94000 per year

A Well Structured Curriculum

Likes

good infrastructure as well as good teachers
good placement in MNC's company and provide exam preparation for interview cracking
course curriculum is good and also provide training on professional development

Dislikes

too much expensive means high fees structure
SC/ST fees only 3000 and Hiamchali students fees 50000 per sem
hostel fees is also very high so please improve on it

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements only for 60 per cent of the above them in 10th and 12th so that time I was very disappointed. my plan after my degree is placement in an MNC. actually I am not eligible for the placement

The college staff is very supportive and knowledge providing
The infrastructure of the college is well developed
The campus size of college is huge and very good

Dislikes

The minimum attendence is 75 percentage which is too much for students
We have to wear college uniform on 3 days
There are external fees which they tell us after joining college

Placement Experience:

Teh placement of our college is good the companies that visit our college are Microsoft Google and Adobe etc 50 percent students get placed averagely.plavemnet is good in our college highest package is 45.3 lpa and average package is 5-6 lpa

Likes

College staff is very co operative to students
They help in student's mental development
They encourage students for participating in different opportunities

Placement Experience:

A placement facility is provided by the college. There are special classes for students so that they get prepared for the placement drives and interviews. Eligibility criteria are different for different companies, the minimum is 60%. Various companies like Amazon, and Wipro visited our campus and the package is based on the companies. The average package is 4-5 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of my background in IT course. As I had applied for a distance programme so we don't have any student ratio as such and we have a great mentor who helped me throughout my course. Lpu has helped us through webinars, online study material and online lectures for studies. The main feature is PCP classes where we get to know the faculty in person. My exams were conducted twice in year and it was quite easy to pass as we have proper guidelines.

Placement Experience:

From the last year of course students become eligible for campus placement. Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. Companies visit to college. The average package offered by them is 1,20000 /annum and the highest package depends upon the experience .For freshers the highest package is up to 5L / annum.

University campus with world class library.

Remarks:

University's envioremnt is very positive . University must work on industrial and professional training for their students so even if they don't place they can have good exposure of industries from companies like tcs , john deer, tech Mahindra , Birla soft , Infosys etc on new technologies . They should think about MCA department which is lacking behind in the race of placements and quality education.

I applied to multiple colleges like SRM Chennai, VIT vellore, and Lovely Professional University(LPU). I got confirmed admisison from all of them. I choose this university cause of the low fees and it is near to the place where I live. Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. An honest and brutal review for paramedical College
