Course Curriculum Overview

BCA is a good course if you want to step into the IT Or computer field. All the faculty members graduated from MCA, MSc. And some of the Ph.D. Also. In a year 3 times college takes cc exams and in last final practical and final exams held in gov. College. Teachers are so friendly you can ask your doubt related to your subject, field and also your future betterment.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Placement Experience

As now I am in 3rd year I can't say about the placements packages that are provided by companies but as much as I know the companies come before your final exams. After getting the degree you can do MCA, MSc., M. Tech, and some others like cyber security.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the fee structure, the college does not take extra money in the name of fees but additional fees charge in the exam fees, cc form, and others. You can apply for a scholarship. There are many scholarships avails for the village student

Campus Life

In the mid of Feb, the fresher for new students conduct in college, holi fest and annual fest is also conducted to socialize the students. Tech fests in which students organize the fest themselves to improve their management skills are also conducted. Sports and extra activities are held in the Feb-march.

My Experience at college

Likes

I like the overall campus environment and the friendly atmosphere of the college. The faculty members and supportive and explain the subjects well. There are also different activities and events where students can participate and interact with others
The infrastructure and basic facilities are good. I also like that the course provides opportunities to learn technical skills and prepare for placements.s

Dislikes

The college experience is good overall, but some areas need improvement. Placement opportunities could be better and more companies should be invited for campus recruitment.
Practical learning and industry-oriented training can also be increased. Sometimes administrative work takes more time than expected.
The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities could be improved and maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding, data, web work and other IT skills. The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work, live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term. The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

My life in Oriental university

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

Easy for those who are preparing for other competitive exams

Remarks:

Good thing is if you're preparing for some competitive exam along with your degree this is the best choice since there is no attendance problem. You can join any coaching class a/c to your timingsYou just need to come to the college at the time of practicals, midsems and endsems. Good or bad that is it. But if you're a very concept oriented towards your UG/PG you'll regret taking admission in this college for a longer time. There are no placements provided, no internship offers. Just that rushy job fair that more looks like a city fair where anybody can come and sit at any company's cell at register themselves even boys.

Best collage is KACC

In case of reservation from college. Our college does not provide any reservations to any student doesn't matter he/she is from any caste all castes students are equally served in our college don't matter he/she is of ST/SC/OBC or GENERAL. I would suggest improving the infrastructure of collage because many students take addmission to the same college and we students would rather choose to study in an excellent environment. Therefore there is no reservations system in our college and infrastructure is also not the excellent stage....Read More

Katni art's and commerce collage KACC review

I'm a student from Katni art's and commerce college KACC and I choose the bachelor of commerce taxation. My review about the college is that it's neat and clean well maintained collage and the reason for not attending college was my financial condition for that I've to work in the business organisation so I can make some pocket money. But then also collage provide a good offer that I can pay my fees in instalments that also a very good point about collage that they don't force students for fees. I Didn't avail any quota because my higher academic record was not good and college provides a scholarship for the students who scored more than 80% in their higher academic record. Admission criteria were very simple there were no boundaries for the student such as a low percentage of students can't get admission every single person who had completed their higher education can get admission at a certain age. No, our college doesn't have any counselling and the admission process was very simple....Read More
