Remarks

The admission process didn't take any entrance exam. Cut-off marks for the 11th were 50% or above. The students must have scored 50% or above marks in the 10th board exam. The application form was provided by the college. Application dated and fees were paid online. Reservation is available. No contact admission is there in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had to choose this course because it offers more job options in the future. The teacher was well qualified, Well mannered. Teaching methods were above average. There was an exam once every 3 months. It was hard to pass because of the pressure the invigilator team puts on every student.

Class Size: 102Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Collage took fees for every year during my B. Com degree. Fees hike was protested by students for some days. But it was handled by the authorities well. The cost to study was 5000+2000/year. The scholarship is available for eligible students.

Campus Life

The annual fests were great. The welcome ceremonies were over the edge. They are mostly conducted in July or August. The books are all available in the library and the department of commerce also provides some books to students.

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't have any specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course . The hands on projects have helped me to understand the practical use of the concept. Opportunities for collaboration and feedback from professionals from the industy will increase the learning application. Per semester the frequency of exam is 3 . The difficulty level is not that much as it is in the semester .

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.
