Entrance Preview
The college requires an engineering entrance test score. They consider admission applications on the basis of 12th marks and AIEEE or UPSEE rank. They have online admission procedure. Some students got admission by directly approaching the college office.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course design and curriculum is satisfactory. The computer science degree and ECE branches are the strong points of DGI.
Internships Opportunities
The internships aspect is a bit weak. You should try and find one yourself. The college encourages internships in the semester breaks. They have a compulsory internship clause for the 7th semester during which we are not in college but working in a company.
Placement Experience
Placement drives take place regularly. NCR centric companies make regular offers here. Big brands do come but not on a huge scale. The college trains you enough to be able to get a job on your own within 6 months of graduating.
College Events
The college regularly organises extracurricular activities related to studies and unrelated to studies. There are music, dance and drama events in the college fest called Effusion. They are very strict about discipline even in these events. Some engineering competitions are also held in the college to encourage innovation and creativity in students.

Campus Life
Very strict management. They don't want students to enjoy. You have to work like clockwork. The upside is that due to this attitude of the college, very less number of untoward incidents take place on campus. People have to be very careful.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is available. Many students opt for outside hostels or PG option. College hostel is well-equipped, gender-segregated and well-maintained. Many go outside to escape the strict management rules. Outside we have some freedom and some semblance of college life.
Exam Structure
Semester pattern of exams. 8 exams in 8 semesters. Practicals marks are also counted.
Faculty
Faculty has mostly young graduates who could not go for further studies or could not get corporate jobs. The college also has some experienced staff and visiting professors. The staff is a bit volatile as the changes take place frequently.
