Remarks

The eligibility criteria for a BSc Hons data science course is that you must have passed your 12th examination or equivalent in any stream with mathematics as the main subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The admission process is easy first you need to fill out the application form available on their website.

Course Curriculum Overview

K.R. Mangalam Unversity is a UGC and AIU-approved university that offers the best engineering courses like BSc Hons Data Science. The teacher students ratio is 1:10. I choose this course because of the greater career opportunities it holds.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 309000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

BSc Hons Data Science from KRMU will cost you around INR 1,03,000 per year. Various scholarships can be availed based on class 12 marks, JEE Main, CLAT, NATA, etc. as per the subject of your choice. Financial Assistance is available for every student.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite good and serene. You can take part in various clubs and societies wherein you have the opportunity to learn new skills. There is a complete balance between the curricular and extra-curricular activities. If I talk about the infrastructure then KRMU has the best facilities like free wifi facility, big reading rooms, libraries, and fully equipped computer labs.

The better choice for bachelor's degree

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus which makes everything seem flawless and easy going.
The faculty is very friendly and understanding which makes it easy to learn from them.
The campus events make the curriculum interesting.

Dislikes

I don't very much like the food from the campus, it offers variation but the taste almost stays the same.
There's no particular uniform which makes it harder to dress Nicely on daily basis.
I sometimes don't like to change blocks for the labs as all the labs are in a seperate block.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to apply for campus placements after completing their bachelor's. There are several companies offering lab workers position and forensic analysts posts. I'm planning on Master's degree form amity after completing bachelor's for higher education.

My experience at MKM College

Likes

I like this college because the theme of the campus is very good and i found it unique
Faculty's knowledge is up to the mark according to the subject needs and their teaching method is very easy to understand
Campus includes everything that a student need a good parking , wifi , library , canteen , stationary shop , etc

Dislikes

Placement drives happens only once a year it should be twice or thrice
Parking could be bigger coz it has space to make a big parking
Wifi speed is not that faster as it should be

Placement Experience:

Placement is average , direct campus placements are limited compared to professional courses , students generally become eligible for for the placement activities in the final year. Personally after completing my degree I plan to either pursue higher studies or look for a suitable job

Nothing is simple about this big campus. Everything is super active and vibrant. My overall experience has been very good.

Placement Experience:

The thing is, i feel exceptionally confident about my career because of our good connections with the institutions. Our graduates manage to get excellent jobs as economic analysts, corporate strategists, and financial consultants. We have the career department, which is assisting me with connecting to various corporate and research companies around the world. They run thorough interview preparation workshops. It ensures my readiness for the job market after graduation.

The College Camaraderie

Likes

The campus was huge, and though infrastructure wasn't modern it was spacious and indulgent.
The faculty was especially kind and generous. The lab was also fully functional.
The library had a large range of books available with the curriculum also being up to date.

Dislikes

The male students of the college tends to get a bit rude and invasive sometimes.
The classes of other domains weren't regular.
Not much availibility of extra curricular activities for science major students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.

My college story

Likes

I like that my college provides weekly programs and competitions for students
Behavior of teachers with students regarding teaching or any work

Dislikes

Sometimes teacher absent and don't come in class on time
No opportunities for general caste students

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my couse then i study in bsc (medical) which is a good course, we studies botany, zoology, chemistry, physics also we are nep student so we study more subject. By studying bsc we came to know my real life experiment like knowing about species, real life incidents etc. I suggest my teaching staff that they have to focus more in practical classes not on theory classes because students are more interested in them.

I chose KR Mangalam University because it offers BTech CSE with a good curriculum, affordable fees and it is near my home. The college also has a decent placement record and good infrastructure. the classrooms, labs, and environment are nice as well. Admission process here was very simple. I just had to fill out the online form then submit my documents and attend a small interview session. I got admission based on my 12th board marks.
