Remarks

I got admission via merit quota. There was no entrance examination. The admission is completely based on the one window registration process of Kerala University. Eligibility of the course is 12th from any board in India with 45%marks. The application form can be found on the Kerala University website. Application calls during the month of March-April.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is of 6semesters which is 3 years with an elective course in the 5th semester. Faculty members are really friendly, and cooperative and encourage us to get a better score on the exams. I chose this course to work in the media field. The seat for the course is 30 for a teacher. The faculties are well qualified as guided by the UGC norms. The semester exams are after every 6 months. Exams are easy but the marking scheme is a bit tough.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I was in the merit quota so I need to pay only Rs 9000/- because the college is a self-financing college. Some scholarships help students. Some of them are single girl child scholarships, OBC scholarships, etc.

Campus Life

The environment of the campus is awesome. The back side of the campus is an agricultural field. There are various fest to encourage the students in various co-curricular activities. Some of them are the annual fest, tech fest, food fest, etc. There is a well-equipped library to refer to and read books. There is a sports club and each year the college celebrates sports day. There are various clubs and social groups. One of the major attractions of our college is that the students and the management started a charity work to help the poor around the college.

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Admission:

This university is entirely based on art and culture for getting admission here I gave an aptitude test and then interview. Total marks for both was 75 50 for test and 25 for interview.. questions were basic if we used your analysis power.

Actually in my college there is no entrance exam in my course, I chose this course (BA economics) because of my parents advice and I know how this course is important in the future I got admission on the merits basis. I got an admission card from the college. So there is no other procedures, admission based on plus two marks.

The Beginners college

I selected this college because it was my only option to opt that I was rejected in top colleges in Kerala. And the college was too near my home (About 15 km). So I thought it will easy for me to pay the travel charges which only costs 10 for one day(Student Ticket). Before taking admission in this college I went there to see how it works for me. From there they all seem very respected to me and I think it's a very good college for me to study. Now I realise that it's only for taking admission in there. This college conduct event like the Techfest and other programs such as career guidance program. To take admission in there one needs to apply for Kerala CEE which is conducted on every year.
