MIT AOE takes admission on the basis of MHT-CET and JEE, whereas you have to fulfill the criteria of 135 marks in physics, chemistry, and maths in board exams. Generally, the cutoff for MHT-CET goes above 90 percentile, it may change as per the caste reservation but never goes below 70%. You have to follow the CAP process given by DTE Maharashtra, or else you can go through the management quota. First, upload all the required documents on the website. After the prerequisite payment, you will receive a counseling process at DTE's website. Then you have to provide your preferences for college allocation. Choose MITAOE as your first preference. After CAP round 1 the college will be allocated to you, if not then apply for betterment in second round. When you get the college allocated as MITAOE, freeze the college and visit the college in offline mode. For castes like OBC, ST, SC the reservation benefit is there, for the General category TFWS facility is there. Fees for reserved category is Rs. 23,534.

The faculty members are very supportive and do not limit your goals. They are very qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them have masters, and many are doing PhDs. The course curriculum is well designed for the overall development of students. The semester is a bit difficult.

The Summer Internship Program (SIP) is offered to Sy, Ty entrants, and BTech Students. Seminars and webinars are arranged by Placement Office for giving guidance to the students so that every student gets an internship.

Students are eligible to apply for campus placements after completion of the seventh semester. In the year 2022, the companies like ZS associates, Infosys, Deloitte, bosch, phone, BMC, cisco, galaxy, and oracle have offered about 200 students in August and Sept. The average package is 7.5 LPA while the highest is 24.74 LPA by Cisco.

The course fees for the general category go up to 6 lakhs for 4 years. But if you belong to the reserved category you will definitely get benefits, total fees will be 1 to 1.25 lakhs for four years. For the general category, scholarships are also available. You can pay fees in installments. Campus placement is helpful for CS, IT, ETX, and Electronics students.

College fest, freshers party, sports event take place in February. Recent books, journals, and research papers related to curriculum and placement activities are available in the library. Many clubs are formed in order to develop extra skills and hobbies of students which are ultimately run by students.
