Remarks

This college provides a good opportunity to survive in the field of engineering. If the student is keen is his/her studies they can understand the concepts and can apply those in their projects. This college provides an industrial platform inside the college by establishing IT centres of other companies.

Entrance Preview

there is no need to give a entrance test because they only look to your higher secondary exam result i opted for this college because of its modern hostel facility and the faculty they are having they got best faculty in all over Amritsar.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum now has become placement oriented thereby preparing the students well in advance for the job interviews. The syllabus also helps the students to prepare for their masters' entrance exams. The choice of electives is also really good.

Placement Experience

4.5

Based on your areas of interest, You will be trained. If you are aspiring for a Higher education they train you with the best trainers and they also provide Foreign language because most of the companies requires students with foreign fluency.

Campus Life

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only university in Amritsar where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is great except few. Most of the teachers are friendly and understand the students. The teachers follow modern teaching and encourage students to bring up innovative ideas. Almost once in two weeks, students would take presentations to improve their speaking skills.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
