Remarks

First after completing the intermediate we should take the MCET exam or if we complete the Polytechnic, we should write the ECET exam later if we pass the exam, we have to select the colleges on the government website to which we want to get admission. Students can get reservations based on their reservation category.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I did civil engineering in this college because of my interest in it. The faculty were amazing with a good subject knowledge. Every branch has different sections which has moderate seating's required for good classroom environment. The faculty here majorly of the qualification of MTECH and some faculty are the people who worked previously as civil engineers. The teaching method of the faculty is good and can reach out to them when ever required if we have any doubts. The term exams are a bit difficult. And the process from invigilation to the correction of the exam paper is strict which is a good thing.

Internships Opportunities

5

Faculty offers internships for the students which can be attended. During my time faculty proposed some good internships to take which provided great value to our profile. Projects for students are held in the final year. We can take up the project in which we have an interest and we have to complete the project successfully to pass the 5th and 6th semesters.

Placement Experience

5

We get to prepare for the campus placements from year 3 and we have dedicated classes for them. Students are eligible for campus placements in their final year. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, CTS, etc. visit the campus for selecting students. The average package provided for the students in this college by the companies is around 3.6LPA and can range up to 5 to 6LPA. Around 60 percent of students get placed in college placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study can be considered as a medium to high ratio. When I studied in this college the fee was 98000. And the fee can be decreased based on your reservation category which is a helpful thing for a student. And this college also provides placement facilities to the students.

Campus Life

5

The college campus is amazing with greenery and a peaceful environment. Events are conducted in the college every year like traditional day etc. This college has a good library facility also where we can find a good book collection which is required for the students to get complete knowledge in the subject. The classrooms are also great. They have good ventilation in every room with good lighting and natural wind. They have dedicated sports classes for first-year students and have to pass them. And also students from every year can use the sports facility and can play any games they want. These college students run some social media handles which are great for bonding and knowing other people from other branches

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
