Minimum Eligibility Criteria for admission include:- 12th with PCB subjects, NEET should be qualified. APPLICATION FORM:- Generally, the application form for NEET is declared in the month of December or January and the test is conducted after the board exam usually on 1st Sunday of May. To qualify for NEET, one must obtain 50 percentile marks in NEET, mark the word percentile, not percentage. Once you get qualified in NEET you are eligible to take admitted to bds and MBBS in most of the private medical colleges over the country. The qualification percentile for ST, SC, and OBC categories is less than the general category.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose BDS because I wanted to become a dentist. My father wanted me to be a doctor. but I didn't want to choose MBBS. If I talk about the faculty of this college all the teachers have done MDS except 1 or 2. Every department has faculty of 4 to 5 staff members and 1 HOD. Staff members have really interesting teaching methods and their notes are just superb. In BDS, final exams are conducted annually Sessional are conducted twice a year and practice test which is called sent-ups are conducted 1 month before final exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is offered by the Vidyapeeth with 4000 stipends. The 1-year rotatory internship is compulsory. 2 months per department. you will get 10 CL. If exceeded, students have to attend to their extensions. Without necessary attendance, no internship completion certificate will be issued.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees of course change every year depending on the university policies. When I got admission it was 2,21,000. If you get the highest marks in NEET among your class fellows you will get a scholarship. If anybody wants he/she can avail study loan preferred by SBI as the campus has its own SBI branch.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest name Fest-A-city is conducted in the month of February. It is a fest of 1 week. Vidyapeeth organizes sports week twice a year. The dental college has a central as well as an IT library with all important books related to dentistry. Well furnishes AC classrooms with smart study materials.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I choose bds was more practical learning and more over my interest in this. The teachers teaches us according the curriculum helping us in exams. The frequency of exam is around six months or annually. It depends on the college management system, and how they set the exam and when.

Placement Experience:

I am a BDS student so for us right after finishing our BDS we are eligible to practice ourselves. Now it is on you whether to go for MDS or not, or whether to move abroad for your practice, we have our internships in the 5th year where we are taught how to deal with patients in real life so our journey starts right from our internships, a lot of fresh Doctors who have passed out from this college are doing great in life. I have a clear set of thoughts in chronological sequence as to this would be my way forward which includes doing MDS and going for opening my own clinic after which I shall move abroad for my practice.

According to me, everything depends on your perspective. The teachers would always work for the good of the students. Now it's on the student's mindset according to which the tasks could be taken as positive or negative.

College is good but only one demerit we have is a slight lack of patients. We don't have that much mob of patients but still get ample patients to get our practice quota done in every department.
