Remarks

The admission process was good. As the admission was through the cuet process. There was the entrance exam conducted for admission and after that merit list was provided as a cut-off and as my name came into the cut-off list I took here admission

I choose this course because I was willing to learn and achieve new things here. The faculty of the college is quite good and well-educated. The students in the college are also of a friendly and helping nature.

The college provides many internships to the students. Some of which are paid ones in the form of stipend and some are unpaid ones only for freshers to get opportunity to learn new things from the internship work.

The fees are quite ok for a middle-class student as it is only 15635 per year approx. the college also provides scholarships to students who are below the poverty line. And it also provides many grants for books.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

Placement Experience:

Well I was very clear to go for MBA after completing the program so placement was never a big deal for me but there are few companies which come every year at the last sem for placements and 10-20% get good placement.

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores.
