Remarks
The eligibility was a 12th pass with marks in every subject. The application form and other details are found on the official website of the college. The admission process carried on till the month of November. They need to be stricter in this regard.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I am from a medical background, I chose to pursue this degree. The ratio is 1:5. The faculties are all Ph.D. holders or are pursuing their Ph.D. from Chandigarh University itself. But they lacked proper knowledge of certain subjects. They couldn't clear our doubts and we faced difficulty. There were 2 mid-semester exams and one final exam. The exams were easy not so difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Placements are done for students in their final year. Mostly local companies of Mohali and Delhi come for placements. The companies are mostly startups. The highest package is INR 30000. 20-25% of the students get placed. I want to pursue post-graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hikes every year and there is a scholarship option for students who score 85% and above in their board exams. There are placements every year but the salary they offer is a maximum of INR 30000.
Campus Life
CU fest is held every year in the month of Jan-Feb where students from different colleges participate. The library is good and books by international authors are available. Classrooms had whiteboards and lessons were taught using a projector. There used to be a sports meet every year. NCC was also there. DSWS was an association that looked after all the queries and grievances of the students.
