Course Curriculum Overview
I am choosing Civil Engineering, because of my passion for designing and planning buildings. There are 120 seats in the Civil department. 60 for general and 60 for lateral entry. In the Civil department, there are 15 faculty are available. The qualification of teachers must be Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. In a Semester there are 3 Phases of Exams. Class Test - 30 marks. Mid Sem - 70 marks Semester - 100 marks.
Internships Opportunities
Tata, L&t, and also some Government organizations provided Internships with a 20-30K average stipend. I am getting some road and High-rise buildings design tasks. This design provides the 2D as well as 3D structural design.
Placement Experience
From the beginning of the 8th semester, you are eligible to attend placement. Google makes the highest package of 20 lac per annum job at Bangalore. 70% Percentage of students get placements. 30% are applied for higher education. After the degree, I am applying for M.tech in Structural Engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
Course fees - 1,30,000. Skills Training fees- 20,000, Hostel fees - 70,000. Through this college, I am participating in the Worldskills competition and getting 15,000 prize money. Now I get a Job at Plan Arch Studios, Bhubaneswar with 8 lac per annum.
Campus Life
Every year in the month of March Annual functions are organized by the college. Also Sports and tech fest organized. The winner are getting trophies at the annual function. There are many extracurricular activities like Yoga, photography, Swimming, etc are happening on campus. Any books and Journals are available related to the department.
