Chandigarh University which is located in Punjab. Firstly I cleared the entrance exam. I scored 87% in class 12th and 84% in class 10th. So I didn't find any difficulty in taking admission. Chandigarh University is very best because the teachers are very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
When I take admission to this college I took a BSc biotechnology course, because my percentage in 12th is very good. They provide various types of question banks for study. Huge discount on few for obc students. When I was studying there it was around 5000 students. The teachers are very good, helpful, and the best. Exams were conducted after every 6 months and the medium of the exams is average not very hard or easy.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also available in our college. Most tech companies give opportunities the students to work for them for 4 to 5 months. They give a salary also based on their work. Wipro, MRF, etc. are the companies that offer an internship.
Placement Experience
Our college offer placement but those who scored good marks in their final semester and only those students who got a good package had scored good marks in the 12th class and the final semester. In our college, many companies come and gave offers like Google, Wipro, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I was studying there it cost me around 1 lakh 69 thousand per year with hostel rent. This college, they give scholarship also, but I didn't apply for that. The students of this college are very good and helpful.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest when I am studying there was The national cultural fest. They provide books on their side but sometimes we had to buy a book from a third party store. The infrastructure of the college is also very awesome and the campus is beautiful and they provide a hostel facility also.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room that I got was not very big but the rate was very big. It cost me around 57 thousand for a year with mess food. The meal at the hostel was not very good and we use to order food online from swiggy and Zomato.
Interview Experience
Yes, firstly we want to clear the entrance exam. Then some scholarships based on our 12th class result. They didn't take any type of interview. They simply ask some basic questions and some current affairs questions.
