Course Curriculum Overview

The advantage of choosing B.Com is that you will have ample opportunities after your graduation degree than arts or other streams other than science. Well, to be frank, if you are planning to have a career only based on B.com then I don't think it is advisable. You won't be paid a lucrative salary only if you complete B.Com.You need to have some additional degree or diploma in order to make your mark in the industry. Hence, B.com would be the bridge for you in attaining your dreams. All the other courses require you to put in a lot of time and by the time you complete that degree you might not be interested in that and at that time you won't have as many options as you could have in B.com.So,B.com would be a safe bet and there would not be anThe faculty of the college are very good with each faculty having a vast experience of teaching thing to lose. student ratio is 80:20 means 80%men and 20% women. The teaching method is very good

My plan is to do any jobs related to my course If the campus didn't provide any placement I go for any company to do work and get my job also campus provides us placement we know but if not provided then I go for any company

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very affordable for all people not very high and not very low I like this fees structure where any person can study with this you don't need scholarships because fees are not high

Campus Life

All is very well and good I love my college which is the best from my point of view..all books are available in the library and the canteen is also very big many stores in the canteen and many more things I love in my college

Admission

First of all, you need the CUET entrance exam for admission and eligibility is you need commerce in the 10+2 exam you can find the application date and fees on du website no need to do any improvement in it ...I didn't get any benefits because I'm from general background and I don't have any sports certificate and I did not join any NCC camps so I didn't get any benefits

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes

i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus.
