Remarks

Exam structure was bit hectic and had many kind of exams. some monthly tests made hectic student's engagement. They schedule the test exam on monthly basis. due to which student get very less time for extra activities. They should focus on extra activities as well in order to improve student personality.

Entrance Preview

I cleared MH CET to get an admission into SCOE. SCOE was suggested by many of my seniors and teachers. This is one of the best college in pune.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took an admission for Information Technology but as the first year syllabus is common to all, the first year divisions are common to all and not specific with branch. from second year there is specification on the basis of stream. Information Technology syllabus was as per Pune university. also had an option to select specific subject in last year.

Internships Opportunities

No, college doesn't provide any kind of internship for Information Technology stream. however the campus selection process is very good at Sinhgad. Sonhgad have a very strong connection with many of MNC companies and on campus jobs are available.

Placement Experience

The campus selection process is very good at Sinhgad. Sonhgad have a very strong connection with many of MNC companies and on campus jobs are available. Many of the reputed MNC companies visit here to select talented champs and give opportunity for better career.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Life of SCOEian

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. This is how the admission is taken in given dates by college within that two days....Read More

I choose Sinhgad College of Engineering because, The "Sinhgad" brand is well-established in Pune. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). First of all I choose Parul University for engineering in computer science but this college is so many far from my house my family is not ready to send me there. And most important I allotted Sinhgad College of Engineering through MHT CET CAP round. It means I am eligible for getting scholarships as SEBC student. This college is offer admission through MHT CET and JEE mains marks. In Tech branch have slightly high merit because of the trend of tech branch....Read More

Great college if your scores aren't that good

Positive: infrastructure is great. Campus is big and lot of shops are here it feels like it's a township of students. Events are great here. There's no tension about attendance although it shouldn't be less than 40% which is better as SPPU demands 75%. Negatives: The location is somewhat far from main Pune. If you want to explore Pune, it's hard and the location on the campus is on a hill, from one side it a hell of a slope and from other side the roads aren't good....Read More
