One of the best college in kolkata for B.tech and others technical degree

College is good but needs to improve more on exploring ideas and focusing on creativity

I cleared WBJEE and JEE Mains but I take admission through WBJEE in CSE but later on I changed it to Bachelor of Computer Application(BCA) due to some reason. Overall it is one of the finest college in the city. I choose this college because I heard that the teachers faculty of this college is awesome and they are to the point and very friendly in teachings and guiding students to do their best and the second things is campus.

The course curriculum is very good. Teachers of our department are very nice to us and provide us required information regarding subjects and others. Institute strictly follows the course curriculum and covers almost the entire topics with clear understandings

Yes, our college provide internship. Techno India Group has well organized Training and Placement Cells to provide placement as well as training support to its students. Internships for engineering and management students are organized in various reputed industries like DVC, CESC, WBSEB, Metro rail, Pepsi, Tata Teleservices, HindalCo, Onida etc

The placement in the college is quite good for IT students as a lot of IT companies come for placements, TCS being the major mass recruiter. Other companies include Amazon, Microsoft and many others. So if you are talented, you can get a good placement in any of these, although for the core branches, the core companies are quite limited and the ones which come take only a few students, so there is a very strong competition. The average package of the college lies around 4.0 lakhs per annum but you can get more or less package depending on your talent and other factors. The lowest package being offered to the last year batch was 3.2 lakhs per annum and the highest was 10 lakhs per annum by Microsoft. Overall, the placement percentage of students was around 85%.

There are many events celebrated in the college like Freshers Party, Teachers Day, fest, inter-college sports and others stuffs, cultural programs, festival programs, college sports, events, etc. We enjoy every occasions together with teachers and other faculty members as a family

The fee structure are not much expensive in comparsion of others private colleges but it is a little expensive for many. Admission fees is around Rs. 60,000/- and the semester fee is around Rs.42,000/- for B.Tech. Admission fee and semester fee are different for different departments

Loan facilities are available as college itself has punjab national bank in its campus. And scholarships are provided to minority and TFW criteria students. As on this I would not like to say anything because I don't know more about this because I haven't taken any loan/ scholarship by this college so I don't know about this.

Techno India is one of the top private engineering college in West Bengal. Academically CSE, IT and ECE branches are good. Regular class is there. Labs are well equipped. Placement around 80% in companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture & IBM. Infrastructure : average, Teachers : good, small playground, monopoly in extra curricular activities, Tech fests provide ample exposure….

The hostel facilities are average. Rooms are shared between 3 peoples and they are not very aristocratic. I recommend that PG is best than college hostel. PG's are easily available with reasonable rates .A good quality pg costs around 7000 per month with 3 tine food accommodation and well sanitation facilities.

I don't want say anything about the alumni network and senior students because they are very helpful and supportive

If it is about exams then I could say that it's all depend on the students. If we are prepared enough then it's chilled out for us otherwise we you knockout. So there is nothing we could say about more on this, it's all depend from student to student

After clearing Wbjee I got admitted in this college through the score card Wbjee. The admission process is very simple and I got admitted very easily. You need to submit few documents during the process of admission and have to pay the admission fee at the time of admission

The quality of teaching and faculty members varies from department to department. Most of the teachers are very good, highly qualified and their way of delivering the speech is very impressive but some of the faculty interested in copying their handwritten notes to the board. The student-faculty ratio is 65:1. I haven't got industry exposure till now and the course curriculum becomes useful in the last few years.
