Remarks

Its all pretty good but the college needs to keep on expanding in every way... Labs.... Faculty... Research... More class room... Hostel.... Parks.... Bus.... Size of the departments... Student faculty interaction... Etc

I just try this college only... I ranked around 20th...i know its a very good college so i don't need to think twice

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't really have the details on arts section... How they conduct research or whatever but... In life science there are few research scholars doing their desertion and phd.Some are on Biotechnology department working on Dna. Some working on medicinal plants... So and so... They also conduct training on mushroom cultivation... I too participated there... Overall still have a long way to go

Internships Opportunities

Our college does not provide internship... Usually after finishing our bachelor course... We went for masters.. I hope this will be available for the students in the near future

Jobs as all Indians knew is pretty scarce. A decent jobs like assistant professors We have to go for masters... phd. NET.jrf. Etc etc. But in other lines... Their might be so.A lot of students are graduating every year. So competition is there. But if you are exceptional in your line there's always an opportunity

College Events

We have a few event during the college days... The first one is fresher social.... And felicitation function where outgoing students securing positions are congratulated.... Student union election..... Annual sports that last for a week.... And champion celebration if we stood first.... Beat contest for a day..... Inter college sport.. For around a week.... Some mini events and tour for some departments

Fee Structure And Facilities

We have to do admission every semesters... That is till 6th semester.... Plus exams fee... Every semester.... Its pretty tough sometimes.... For life science with 4 practicals... Its usually rs 1300-1700... Without exam fee....the arts section without practical cal is cheaper than life science..... But with scholarship its somewhat t manageable

Fees and Financial Aid

There is one scholarship for a very few student... Which is monthly... But for few students only... Tribal scholarship is what most people applied to... As there is no cut-off... If applied correctly you will receive it... But only around rs 6000 a year

Campus Life

The campus is pretty vast and there is no such inconvenience news.... The students interaction is good.... There is no such gender discrimination... The gender ratio is also pretty balanced... There is a football playground... Departments play each other all the time... Carom... Basketball... Chess... Etc a there.... There is no religion indulgence as far as i am concerned.... No such barrier.... No politics... Race... Economic barrier in the campus....

Hostel Facilities

I do not stay in the hostel... I went there as a day scholar... So i cannot really prove anything but ill say it from my friends experiences.... Water is pretty limited... So water management is important.... Mess is different from home meals.... It depends on the person.... No ragging whatsoever.... New buildings are being constructed... Girls and boys hostel are separated

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of every departments are very active and are open minded for their Junior students... Offering to help them in every problems they encounter.... The intra-departments interaction is very good.... Department sports are also conduct as in ours.... We as a seniors in our final year offers to guide our juniors in every way

Exam Structure

The exam system is continual assessment. We have Continual assessment test 1 and continual assessment test 2. And assignment..best of two. .and final external exam. We have to be active throughout the semester. This type of semester system is much better than the yearly type

Admission

In our particular subject they don't conduct an entrance... Just merit listed... But in some subject there may be so..in subjects like English there is a cut-off mark like around 60% on English.... Notice of merit comes after submitting our details... And got selected... And got admitted.... Admission process too is not hard... There a help desk.... So we confronted them if we ever had any problem

Faculty

The faculty of our college are very good taken overall... They are top students during their time and are experienced lecturers. Always available in times of need. Their teaching is quite good.And study materials they pointed out are exceptional.

I like our department professor how they teach us and gives them their precious time to teach us

All professor engagement is excellent.They try their hardest
Study material provided is best.Explanation is best
College campus is neat and clean Discipline is best

Dislikes

there is no much seat or campus where students can rest.
There is mot much outing activity for students
There is so many necessity for contribution of money

I like this field.Faculties tried their best for our understanding of the course .there is no need improvement.This is the best environment for studying.The frequency of exam is 3 hours and it is enough much for 75 marks answer sheet

The Life at Pachunga University College

Likes

I liked that most of the faculty are highly qualified one of my professor graduated from IIT Guwahati and also that the teachers teaching method are very helpful we can go anytime to them if we have any doubt
I liked that the the college has alot of clubs like chess club, mathematics clubs etc
I liked that it conducts alot of fest and seminars

Dislikes

The hostel food can be a little hard for outsiders but it is manageable
It would be good if we had a proper clean the hostel only nothing more the other areas are very clean
We regularly have CCA but it doesn't have that much fun in it

I chose this course because I was interested in this subject physics.The teaching method are good I don't think it needs any improvement it is in the students from here the teacher have done well .The frequency of exam is 1 per 2 months I think

I really like the building , the place, the library and most importantly there are many trees in our college and i really like it. It is very wide and most importantly for introvert people there are many quite place to go and relieve themselves .
There are many teachers who teach very nicely and interesting so like it very much.Some teachers also used materials to teach us and that is very nice.I really appreciate some of my teachers for their hardwork and dedication to teach us .I felt nice.
The students they selected are very competitive because they only select the top student who score good marks .

Dislikes

There are many activities and clubs they take so much of our time . This really disapoint me .And wha I really dislike is that the college library bathroom is very dirty .they didn't clean it like for months, and the college lack water too.
Some of our teacher don't know how to teach at all. They only know how to scold and humiliate student in front of everyone besides teaching . They don't really care what student is going through in their family and what problem we have in our life.
Many teachers give materials to print out, and it really waste our money because in every subject we need to print it out all the materials.

I think it is perfect. I take chemistry because I really wanted to become pharmacist but due to financial reasons I couldn't do that , so I took chemistry and I think I did a great job that I took this course.

Only the fresh air and nature here...people are good here but you won't get the environment

Dislikes

There's huge language and food barrier and and tbh it's not good for the students from outside state

The course curriculum under NEP is basic And not much of use if you prepare for any competitive exam for masters The syllabus is not well structured You will learn to make sentences before learning alphabets ??

Course Curriculum Overview:

My first choice is MBBS for which I have tried. But in 2020 cutoff is too high so I choosen BVSc&Ah. Here is good interaction between students and teachers. All Teachers are well qualified as all are PhD holders. The teaching style is very nice after every theory class there is a practical class so it is interesting to study for example: after study heart, every 2 students dissect the heart of Ox with the professor so everyone can understand things very clearly. There is 3 internal exam in a year out of which best of 2 numbers will be added and 1 external exam with practical

Review of my College

Remarks:

My college is the best in my state. But the location is a little bit isolated so students got a little bit tired at the end of the day. The Bus provided by the college (around 5) is not enough to carry all students. If this is resolved it will be very helpful.

PUC is the best college in the northeast so it is like achievement for me to get into it. I apply zirtiri college but that was very far from our house and when I know that I got selected from puc I was very happy . We have to do admission at the administrative block . There is no cutoff marks but we have written exam in which the course we choose .And the top 30-40 student who did well in the written exam got selected , it is pucet exam .
