Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is similar for all the colleges affiliated with madras university. The faculty members in our college are friendly and provide the students with apt guidance to achieve their goals.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our College provides internship opportunities based on our stream. I got an internship at Shiyash Infotech and my project is based on neural networks. Our college along with IBM offers internship programs for students.

Placement Experience

Our college provides 100% placement for those who are willing. In the final semester of the course, placement drives will happen, and companies like Altruist, Episource, Palle Technologies, etc., visits and take many students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable and is nearly 50000 per year. scholarships will be awarded to deserving students and also to economically weaker students. scholarship endowments are also provided for students who have excelled in their studies.

Our college conducts various festival celebrations and academic-related events regularly. it makes college life on campus a memorable one. our college has very good infrastructure with well-equipped labs, conference rooms, etc.,

The admission process is very easy and there is no entrance exam for admission here. we can find the application form in both online and offline modes. the eligibility of the course is the same as the madras university norms.

Most of the classes are not in a proper condition of on going process, students are jumping out of classes and doesn't attend proper classes.exams should be sheduled with proper timing students from far away are in hurry to end up clg .

Likes

There are many courses including post graduation.
Faculties are well expertise and has good mentorship quality
The fees are affordable to pay for the course I have selected

Dislikes

Need to improve the infrastructure of the college
Crowded canteen it would be better if we have one more
There is some hygienic issues in the washrooms could be better if it is hygiene

I have chosen this course because it is a highly demanded and believe that it helps to built a better future. It helps to improve our technical knowledge. It would be better if the communication is bilingual.

THE IDEAL COLLEGE LIFE!

Likes

The opportunities to meet new people and interact with a whole new circle of people by Club Activities as there are quite a lot of clubs according to the student's interest.
Many places to showcase our singing and dancing talent once we join the club or take part in any of the department events.
They have multiple labs for a single department so that the students get a lot of hands on training for coding and as well as hardware.

Dislikes

4:3 Ratio of Girls to Boys in my class and i hope it's the same for all the departments as well.
The college timing can go from 8:30 AM to 5:10PM.
The 75% attendance is kind of doable and maintainable to an extent.

Placement Experience:

about 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed afdter the colleg and the ones not placed also gets placed after the college with high network and communication from other contacts within the college, ZOHO Corp does take placements and i am preparing for my CAT exams as i am planning for My highers at IIM, 5th semester is when the students become eligible for the campus placements and the seniors are a good connection who help to get places and get a job after the completion of degree.

Hostel , mess food and mess hall , no facilities for marine practical

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management
